So ive given notice to leave, not sure what ill do with the TV yet but am swtiching the broadband. Has anyone done this on broadband before - the sky lady told me your not really supposed to cancel if your switching, the new provider is supposed to handle that, but if i just switch then surely there will be early termination charges. Im thinking i arrange the switch date for the day before the termination date so it still swtiches - anyone have any experience if that will work or if that will trigger the early termination fees?

If you've cancelled your broadband, you risk being without it for a period of time, or paying for both old and new providers for a period of time - it depends when your order with your new supplier, and how long they take to activate.
I'd strongly recommend keeping the TV cancellation in place, but undo the BB cancellation, then let the new provider transfer your services. Whether you cancel, or do a transfer, should not affect any termination fees. You should be able to select an activation date with your new provider beyond your contract end date.

The problem is im still in contract so can only cancel due to the price increase - ive timed it for the day before the 30 days runs out, hoping sky dont apply the early termination fees as ive applied to switch now and it doenst actually cancel

That is incorrect, you can switch OR cancel, you're just telling Sky that you are cancelling the TV and switching the BB. You may well be without any BB (and phone line) for a good while. Contact them back and ask them to stop the BB cancellation but you're still leaving. You then need to contact the new supplier and explain the situation to them, they need to restart the new service from scratch.

BIG NEWS! From March, Ultimate TV will include Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu along with Netflix. That's over £20 a month worth of streaming apps brought together like never before
This, unfortunately does not work for Sky Q customers on Signature !

You beat me to it.
Mate of mine called Sky at weekend to cancel as price rise and was told these 3 service's will be included with Q signature.
MOD do you have a link where it says not included with Sky Q please.
