Sky TV retention deals ( post your haggling successes )

Yes- Sky applied most of my discount to Signature. I currently pay £18 for Sky Sports and £4 for HD and £4.50 Netflix with Ads

Thanks, that makes sense.
I've seen other people with deals where they are paying nearer to full price for signature, but then getting sports for very low, sometimes £0. I guess all that really matters is the final total.1 -
My (discounted) price for Signature appears to be going up to £21.50 and Sports to £18. HD/UHD remains at the same cost of £5 So increase of £4 - but still less than I was paying for my previous "deal" in 2025.
Unless April 27 rises are a lot worse ,I'll still be paying less at renewal date late 2027 than I was paying prior to last deal finishing.

FUTURE SKY BILLING INCREASE
For me, it's the broadband only that's going up — by £3 pcm from the April bill.

Is there a UK based Sky Contact Centre that you can call ?
Im fed up with the responses Im getting on the chat option, where they dont even read what you have written. They basically have renewed my contract that was not due until the Summer, without my authority.

I spoke to a lady at Sky, and she said once your contract is renewed, there's nothing you can do. (even though it was them that did it without my permission.). My only mistake was not checking again within 14 days that Sky had corrected my contract back to expire in 4 months when they said they had. I did well to not get really angry, and refused to hang up till spoken to someone to sort it. She tried the 'well if its on a call we will check it', but when I said I have the chat transcript , she started to back down. When I asked why my bill had doubled - she said everybodys has !
How do they get away with basically telling lies on phone calls ?
Eventually had to give up after 40 minutes, but got a complaint number and a name of the manager who will apparently call me back within 7 days. (yeh right).

That's crazy - they have no case - contracts need to be agreed by both parties - but you'll have a bit of hassle getting it sorted.🤨

Don't know if it still works ,but when I had an issue with "misinformation" on price for TV package two years ago , I went via an Executive Complaints email.address.

Any advice/tips welcome.
My Mum has a rolling contract with SKY (I've never heard of such a thing to be honest, I'm on a 24 month one). She has Sky Signature, Netflix (with ads) and broadband for £52 a month. They're putting it up to £60 in April and she's not happy.
Q - do you think if she calls them up and haggles she can get it back to £52 a month? she's happy to go on a contract.
Q - also, any advice on what dept should she call to push for cheaper price initially? cancellations? retentions?
Thanks all

Looks like customers in contract will be able to leave/renegotiate due to Sky's latest price increases.
