Sky TV retention deals ( post your haggling successes )

I've just received the price rise email this morning - clearly states that I can leave because of the £4 price rise - but since I'm only paying £40.50 pm now for Sig, Sports ,HD and UHD AND they are including the extra streaming options , I'm staying put as I'll save on my £5.99 Disney+ sub with an overall saving of £1.99pm.
The only downside is that I have Disney+ on a Firestick currently on a 2nd TV , but it only gets used once in a blue moon.

Why is that a downside?
As I understand it the Disney+ sub you will get via Sky will be just the same as one you get direct from Disney, i.e. able to be used from other devices too, not just your Sky box. Subject to the limits per the tier you're on.0 -
- Disney+ Standard with Ads from March (date to be confirmed)
- HBO Max Basic with Ads from when it launches in the UK & Ireland on 26 March
- Hayu from July, with a selection of top shows available from March
That's the only information so far.

Are you sure ? I assumed it would be available ONLY through the Sky Q box - not as a logged in app. The standard with Ads pack allows two device log ins.

I am pretty sure.
If you go to this page https://www.sky.com/tv/apps/disney-plus?irct=web-partner-sites_gbr-disney-plus-learn-more and scroll down to the question "Can I watch Disney+ on Sky Go?" and expand it to see the answer, it says:"No. You can watch Disney+ on Sky Q, Sky Stream, Sky Glass, or by using the Disney+ app on your devices."
So to me that seems pretty clear that the account with be usable on other devices.
I think it is just a normal Disney+ Standard with Ads account that Sky will pay for as part of the Signature package for Sky Q customers. And there is the opportunity to get a higher tier by paying the difference - see earlier questions on that page.2 -
Exactly this, so you can still use the TV built in app which (if a modern TV) will give better audio and video quality than the Q box at least.

Do you know how many connected devices can be used at the same time on 1 account?
I wondered if getting through Sky they may reduce the connections due it it being "free" but I don't know how many devycan be used at the same time as a paid account that's why I was asking.

What, exactly will we be able to view on Disney + - because it's not the same as Disney in USA
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.0 -

How many people can watch Disney+ at once? The amount of devices you and thepeople in your Householdcan use to stream Disney+ varies depending on your plan:Disney+ Standard with Ads:up to two devices at a timeDisney+ Standard:up to two devices at a timeDisney+ Premium:up to four devices at a time
I really don't think this is going to be any different because it's paid for via Sky.

What makes you say that?
