Not bad but others on here seem to have got better offers so rejected for now.Yea I ended up phoning them to try again and they they gave me the same price. Spent several minutes trying to get it under £50 and asking for different combinations etc. but they wouldn't budge so agreed to it. They did agree to credit the £10 'admin charge' at least. It's actually £4 less than I was paying before my last deal ended but, since it was the first offer, I was hoping for a better one. In the end I decided I had better things to do than argue over a pound or 2 a month.Grav15 said:jaxkesa said:Went on chat and was offered Signature, Sports HD, UHD and Multiscreen for £51. Not bad but others on here seem to have got better offers so rejected for now.The breakdown was:
- Signature is normally £40.50, but you'll pay £20 (with a 24-month contract) This offer is for 24 months
- Sky Sports in HD is normally £40, but you'll pay £15 (with a 24-month contract) This offer is for 24 months
- Sky HD is normally £9, but you'll pay £4 This offer is for 24 months
- Ultra HD is normally £4, but you'll pay £2 This offer is for 24 months
- Sky (Q) Multiscreen is normally £15, but you'll pay £10 (with a 24-month contract) This offer is for 24 months
They said it was a standard deal for those on packages over £60.1 -
Sky sig £20
uhd and hd £0 for 2 months. Cooling off Should I cancel and wait for black friday retention's?0 -
Knocked Sky on the head a few weeks ago when it got to £100. Been looking at FreeSat boxes, but would want recording facility.
On basic Sky Q box functionality - no pause or recording and only basic channels. Got packaging to send Sky Q box back, which included a telephone number to call. Left it a couple of weeks. Phoned today and said what basic offers can you give me. Signature £20 (from £40) and I asked about Essential - they then offered me that for £7 rather than £15. Rolling contract for 24 months at £7, I think...need to read the small print when I get the email or read about it on the App.0 -

Edit: seems they've made some changes I wasn't aware of, Atlantic & Netflix (for what that's worth nowadays) is included, but the £15 price is for a fixed 24 month contract, it was £18 a month for a rolling monthly deal.
That said. I have seen posts that Sky are refusing Essentials deals on Q for new, if not existing, customers.0 -

JSmithy45AD said:Essentials is just the free to air channels, you can't even add HD so it's SD only I believe. Presumably you'll still have 2 April increases in that but given the full price is only £15 it won't amount to much.

They are two different things despite the similar names.0
