Whats the best current method of haggling with Sky - phone or online ? I always used to find it easier to haggle with the UK based phone team.  Though doing it online gave you a hardcopy of what was actually said, which could be useful.

My TV bundle expires in a month with Sky, so looking for the best deal from them (TV, Netflix and Sport) .  I might also transfer my broadband and btsport to them if a deal is good, though need to understand how good/bad Sky Broadband is.

My Sky Q contract not really up til the autumn but had a call asking if interested in broadband  + Sky Glass package instead. If I’ve understood it correctly, Signature, Cinema, Sports, Kids, Paramount and Netflix boost no ads for  £59 + £27 broadband (500) totalling £86 for 24 months with 43” TV. Just wondered if it’s worth considering? Not really on top of what Sky Glass offers that improves what I have. Currently pay £56 for the same Sky Q package without Netflix  + 27 for slightly slower broadband elsewhere. Any thoughts welcome and is it really worth considering a change?
Sky Glass is a TV, an over-priced one at that. Only consider it if you really need a new TV on a very long term finance deal. If you don't need that then don't buy it - it's poorly made and very restrictive compared to most other smart TVs.
A Sky Stream puck will give you the same Sky streaming service that you get on Glass but with your own TV. It's not great though, still very buggy and slow, despite being around for nearly 4 years. It works OK for some people but if you like recording and being in full control of what you watch, when you want to watch it, then it's really not worth considering.

Just rang the Sky retention team today after my Sky TV ended yesterday and got a deal for Sky Signature and Sky Sport for £35 and includes a new 2 TB Q box as my 1 TB box was getting old they said.
I also enquired about broadband and got Sky Full Fibre 100 including Sky Talk Anytime Extra for £21. Both 24 month contracts, a big saving over my previous deals.

When you say your deal had "ended" ,do you mean that your cancellation had completed at the end of the notice period OR that your discount period had just ended ?
If the latter then that seems a very good deal to me for TV portion.

My deal ended on Monday the 16th. I have just signed up again £28-50 per month which included Sky Q Signature, plus Sky Ultimate, with basic Netflix and HD.
I was hoping for a little better but they wouldn't budge, like they thay have in previous years,
I think that they really want people off satellite and on to streaming so are not as flexible as they have been in previous years.
I really don't want to go down the streaming route yet as I have heard so many bad stories about it, plus I like to record programmes and skip through adverts without payin an extra £5 for the privilege.

The 31 days cancellation had finished. As an aside they told me when I first cancelled that I didn't need to send the Q box back as it was old and I could continue to use it for the free channels.
The only bad thing so far is that after 5 hours they still haven't switched the paid channels back on and the overseas call center couldn't help.

Don't know whether that question was directed at me.
I was offered Signature for £20 and the HD was £4, which I couldn't get a better price on.
