Coming to the end of another deal, sky Q:

    Signature
    Sport
    Cinema
    HD

Was £60,50, went up to £65.50 with the recent price increase, then going to £98.50 next month when offers end.

Via chat, they offered £69.50 with £20 fee and new 24 month contract. Said I would also like tnt sports (watched a lot of eurosport and do miss that) - extra £27 per month - and multi room - extra £8 per month. £104.50 per month total.

Asked if any deals on 31 day rolling contract? Yes, but only on sky stream.

Put the cancellation through. Tempted by stream - but going to be hard to give up the Q box!
That's interesting, seems to be confirmation that they're really only interested in Stream going forward, which makes sense against the competition.  I'd read some reviews a while ago regarding Stream, resoundingly negative, so didn't look into it further. Has anything improved does anyone know? They'll have to get their act together if it's going to be the main option!
Nothing has improved with Sky Stream. It's still glitchy and unreliable. I've had it twice, the first time for a year and it just made watching TV a frustrating experience rather than an enjoyable one. I tried it again a couple of months ago to see if it had improved and it hasn't. Same problems.
The Stream puck itself is rubbish. Slow and always going out of sync. Needs rebooting all the time and it's just too frustrating.
I've since got rid of Sky completely and now use an Apple TV box to stream everything. It's wonderful! So simple and easy to use. We subscribe to NOW occasionally to get some Sky channels but really don't miss having a Sky box of any kind under the TV. It's just far too over-priced these days.

I've managed to bag the following 24-month Sky Q deal by giving my 30 days’ notice to cancel and allowing the services to switch off for 1 hour.

    Sky Signature £15.00
Ultimate TV Pack (aka Netflix with ads) £4.50
Sky Sports Complete Including Sky Sports+ £8.00
    Sky Cinema £7.00
    Sky Sports HD £0.00
    Sky HD £5.00
    Ultra HD £2.00

    Total £41.50

Prior to the price increase in April, I was paying £54.50 for the above (and was offered this price during the cancellation period).

It just goes to show, if you are willing to "play the game" and are polite and friendly to the staff there are still deals to be had with Sky.

Hi, When you say allowing services to switch off for 1 hour, what's the next action?

Do they call you? Or is there someone you call, and they then offer you a "good" deal?

So in my case I was due to be switched off on 28th May, but it didn't "switch off" until the early hours of 29th May.  I called the "win-back" team at around 10:00am (I thought I'd give them an hour or so after the lines opened) on 29th May and it took about 15mins of negotiations to get to that price.

    Thanks!

I guess I should have waited a few more days, I renewed just before the 30 days was up, looks like I could have saved an extra £9.50

Anyone got the £35 Sky Deal advertised all over Facebook
for Essential TV, Sky Sports, Sky Atlantic, Netflix & Discovery for £35.
    on a 24month contract.
Is this available on Sky Q ??   or is it just Stream and for new customers only.
I'm currently on a sky rolling 30 day contract for TV Essentials on SkyQ at £7 per month.
Do you think i could upgrade and get that price?
