Sky TV retention deals ( post your haggling successes )

Finally settled on £101/month, deal done the day before disconnection, so I know I've left a bit on the table, but versus the earache I'd get if things were cut off even for a day, let alone recordings being lost... well, it was an acceptable compromise...artyboy said:
Well just cancelled again under the cooling off period. Interestingly I thought that would just take me back to my original cancellation date, but it apparently starts a new 31 day notice period. No dice getting a better deal on the call, but I have plenty of time. This could be an ongoing rinse and repeat saga...artyboy said:
And I thought I was getting hosed...topbanana2025 said:My Sky Q goes up to £184 per month, from May payment.!!! (130 currently)
best they would offer at weekend on the online chat was £140 month incl April increase.
said if they can do £120 incl increase, would sign up!!! would not go under £140
calling back later in week
this is what i haveSky Sports Complete including Sky Sports+MultiscreenSky CinemaSky SignatureSky HDUltra HDBoost to Netflix PremiumAndSky Broadband Superfast (37mb as on phone line) no fibre on openreach here, waiting for City FibreSky Broadband BoostSky Talk Evenings and Weekends Extra
The only difference between my package and yours is that I have TNT and don't have broadband/phone, so frankly we should be about evens for price (TNT alone is close to £30). I ended up on £105/month, which I still thought was a bit 'toppy'0 -
Got switched off a week ago, phoned the number in the packaging to return Q Box.
They are still not budging on their £47 final offer for Signature, Sports & HD.
Sky are hard core these days, no real proper haggling! So time to say goodbye after 15years!
They did offer me £7 per month rolling 30 day contract to keep Q Box with recording facilities (Essential TV SkyQ)
With Just free to air channels (like freesat) and access to APPS through the Q Box.0 -
I have Sky Stream. They offered me Ultimate for £17pm (rising to £21pm from June due to a standard price rise of £4pm) and Sky Cinema for £11pm (£16) on a two year contract.
So £28 in May and £32 from June.0 -
What do you think the target should be for Signature, Netflix premium, Sports complete, Cinema, HD+UHD, and Multiscreen on Sky Q?mits999 said:
You should be aiming for £40 maxwasif_786 said:So I left sky in October 2024 and went on livechat today to talk to the win back team. Was offered sky signature, sky sports complete, cinema, HD and UHD. For £46 per month, 24 months deal.

Has anyone recently got that type of pricing. This was achievable after cancellation 6-12 months ago but offers recently seem to be approx £10-15 more than the £50 target for this package quoted. Happy to be corrected as I'd be happy to get a package at £50 if it included sport, cinema, multiscreen and netflix premium.mits999 said:

Haven't seen anyone getting as good a deal as that in the last year - unless they have signed an NDA lolmits999 said:

Sky diamond 18 years with them.
Existing sky package over £100 per month:
Sky Signature: £32.50
Sky HD: £9
Multi screen: £15
Netflix premium: £9
Ultra HD: £4
Sky Kids: £0 free trial.
Sky broadband superfast: £33
Called sky to cancel my free trial of kids package which was ending next month.
The guy on the phone took the honour of downgrading my Netflix premium to Netflix (with ads) for £4.50 and removing ultra HD (as I don’t have ultra hd tv).
He said the new price was now £93.
Called back as I wasn’t happy that the price dropped from £102 to £93. Explained my brother pays half of what I do for same tv package and broadband.
This guy then offered me the following if I upgrade my broadband from superfast to fibre 150.
Sky Signature: £29.50
Sky HD: £6
Multi screen: £8.00
Netflix (with ads): £4.50
Sky full fibre 150: £32.0
£80 per month + £10 one off cost for fibre installation. It will be £83 until my broadband changes to full fibre.
My only concern is that I’m offered £32 for 150 fibre when the same product for new customers is £25! Ideally don’t want to change my broadband to fibre. I’ve been with them 18 years! Also I’ve seen the signature package at much lower price on here.
I’ve not spoken with the retention team.

Move you BB to another provider and with cashback you'll easily get it cheaper than £32 (and probably £25). I find it easier to keep it separate so you can negotiate on TV alone.Dee19867 said:<snip>

My broadband was never out of contract - it was locked in until late 2026 - but they’ve started another 24 month contract for the 150 fibre replacing my existing contract. I understand they have a cooling off period but not sure if they means I can leave them all together or just return to my existing contract for BB. Their lines are down today so can’t call them or speak to them online.MeteredOut said:
