Currently two weeks into my cancellation, on live chat today I was offered this for Sky Q,

    Sky Cinema
    Ultra HD
    Sky Signature
    Sky HD
    Netflix Premium
    broadband approx 60mbps

Price £77.49 or can include multiscreen with second box for an additional £4.

Does that sound a good offer.  I am currently paying £92.5 with no multiscreen

So I left sky in October 2024 and went on livechat today to talk to the win back team.

Was offered sky signature, sky sports complete, cinema, HD and UHD. For £46 per month, 24 months deal.

They said will post out a self install Sky Q box and new viewing card.

    is this competitive?

    Thanks

Reasonable price as far as I'm concerned - that's more than £50pm less than list price.
HOWEVER even at £46 pm bear in mind that the sports offering is getting less and less appealing due to the amount of sports lost to TNT ,Premier etc and there are cheaper ways of getting films via Amazon, Disney+, Paramount etc

Used the retention number 0333 7594451 - my TalkTalk BB was out of contract, and Sky contract due to end next month (been with both for 25 years, always haggled both, successfully). Sky price was £60, increasing to £72 from May. (no Cinema, Kids, but inc Sports).
Told them about not being able to afford a new contract - went away to ask his manager, came back with new offer of £69/24 months. Said it was still too much - what about if I added broadband? Went away, came back with Sky Signature, Sports & BB for £81 - incl £17/month for BB. Once I'd thought about it, and thought that TT wouldn't get close so said yes, he then said, Oh, I can make it even cheaper - £55.50/24months. No BB activation fee, no set up, no router delivery charges. I couldn't believe it! So I've got Sky Signature, SportsHD, SkyGo and BB for less than I was paying ten years ago - saving nearly £500 a year for two years over what the two bills would have been.
I'd already had an offer from TT for a new contract at £28/month. I haven't bothered to call them, as I guess they will not be able to match £17 month.
The only downside, I've just had my monthly TT bill email, and the phone call to Sky cost me £7.33! !!!!!!...so be aware that this number is expensive from a land line...
TT have emailed me asking me to call them, they're sorry to hear I want to leave them....

Calls to an 03 number should cost the same as calling an 01 or an 02 number.

The great deal you got more than makes up for the cost of the call. 😃
  • Should I be annoyed with Sky?  Contract just out at £43 a month for Signature, Ultra HD, Multiroom, Ultimate (Netlfix).  Renewal came in at over £73 so told them to cancel, offering me £65 to stay at the time.  Continued to cancel.  Now I am a week away from the final cancel date and went to see what they could offer and after an hour they offered £55.49 a month for the same package, whilst trying to offer me downgrades to Netflix and move Ultra HD to HD, all whilst placing a £20 admin fee on for the privilege.  Am I being unreasonable to expect better?

Told them it's still too much and walked.  Should I just let it go and is £55 a reasonable price?
