My 31 days cancellation went through today. Got an email from sky to come back. Called them and agreed to the following

2 year contract with 2 year discounts but with price rises etc.

    Sky signature £20
    Multi screen £5
    Ultra HD £2
    Sky HD £5
    Kids £3
    Sky Cinema £10
    Sky Sports £8
    Sky Sports HD £2
    Basic Netflix £4.50

Total £59.50 with no admin fees etc

That is a very ggod deal, perhaps not as good as some others that I have seen on this channel in the past. I have virtually the same deal except that I pay £14 for sky sports instead of £8 like you. May be you get a further discount as you have Sky Cinema which I don't. Mine is a 18 month contract. I also got a £30 one off credit.

Well mine is now bizarrely £60 pm after agreeing an 18 month contract for £63 pm.  My last £55 pm bill on old contract was in May.  I cancelled then days later received an offer via email and over Live Chat agreed the contract in bold below.  Then in June my bill was £23.54 with so much information on it it was confusing with credit for cancellations, pro rata charges for certain amount of days etc, it would take a mathematician to work it out. Then I noticed future bills of £63 didn't add up individual price wise.  Netflix was at £10.50 but they had cut the cost of Sports.  24 hours later bills changed again and July's was showing as £7.38 with cancellation credits etc again and then all future bills were showing as only £7.00 but various channels were missing even though I could view them.

I waited until after 7th July as that was the date that my old contract ran out to see if it caught up but it stayed the same.  I contacted Sky through Live Chat and said as much as I would love to pay £7 for the next 18 months it was clearly not right.  Couple of days later my bills showed as £125.75 for August, £60 for Sep and £60 for Oct.  They had obviously undercharged me in June and July and I did again contact them re the high bill in August as we all obviously budget for these things but apparently the error was seen after the computer had calculated my July bill.  No movement on that unfortunately as annoying as the high bill is as it's their error not mine!  I then once again honestly said that my contract originally had been agreed at £63 not £60 but live chat just said another offer must have been applied.  I can only assume they can't get the offers to show a Netflix discount so need to deduct from elsewhere, who knows.  I was concerned that again the error of a new £3 a months saving may be picke4d up in future but he stated that £60 was my future bills.  That's why I like Live Chat as of course I have all conversations (ie proof) in writing.

So there you have it, in bold original offer and what I hope I will be paying going forward in the screenshot.

Sky Signature at £22.50 normally at £36.50 18 months offer, Sky Cinema in HD at £13.00 with Sports, Sky Sports Complete pack in HD at 14.00 normally at £39.00 18 months offer, dependency offer on Sports and Cinema remove any one price may differ, Sky HD at £5.00 normally at £9.00 18 months offer, 3rd party services Netflix Standard plan without ads at £8.50 normally at £10.50 with Sky only 2 screen, There's an upfront charge/admin fee of £0.00, you will get Paramount + worth £6.99 and Sky Go for free with Sky - Total £63.00 pm

it's entirely up to you whether you find that acceptable and if it covers all of your needs. I would say to tell them you don't think the UHD isn't worth it and they'll probably reduce it to a quid a month. Do check your account if you accept it though as I get a sneaky feeling the Netflix add-on will prove to be with ads at that price.

I’ve been away from Sky for 15 months now, got a £17 a month offer for Signature which I thought was acceptable for Sky Q. However, after an online chat they refuse to budge on the HD charge of £4 a month which I refuse to pay. This should be standard in 2024.

Im happy to walk away and get my Sky shows via Now.

You should consider the whole cost though regardless of how they break it down.
    £21 a month is a decent price.

This will probably be a 24 month contract though, so 2 price increases. The % of the increase is worked out on the full price as well, not what the customer pays. I agree with @Birdman2015 that is too much, more than I would be willing to pay for what amounts to channels you can get on fta live tv or catch up, with a few of the extra Sky ones included. There shouldn't be an extra charge for HD nowadays.

But there is.. And as long as we continue to pay the extra, Sky will continue to rip us off!!
