I phoned mid-contract - I was paying £42 but had an unannounced £2 increase in Jan before the announced £3.50 in April - taking me to £47.50.  They offered £41 but my future bills were showing at £43.83, so I phoned again and settled on £36.83:

    Signature £17.50
Ultimate (incl 2 screens Netflix HD) £4.50
    HD £5.00
    Multiscreen £8.50
    UHD £1.33

    Total £36.83

Not bad as was mid-contract paying £42 ad would be stuck with the £3.50 increase anyway.
Didn't know you could negotiate mid-contract till now!

Well, Called sky today as they had not called back. The
lady I spoke to went through the breakdown as follows:

    Signature: £21.50
    HD: £4
    Netflix: £4.5
    Sports: £19
    Ultra HD: 2
    See it first: Free
    3D: Free
    Multiroom: £9.5

I immediately commented that they had not mentioned Cinema
which she confirmed was not included !, I said that the previous
caller had said it was the same as I had but included Netflix. She
checked and confirmed that Cinema would be £4.5 = £65 total.

I said I was not interested and would continue the cancellation.

I might try again at the beginning of next month just before the
actual cancellation to see if they improve the offer or do you think
it is best to let it cancel and then try before I send the kit back ?
Let it fully cancel then day after they will offer approx

    signature £18
    hd £3
    netflix £3.50
    sport hd £12
    ultra hd £1
    multiroom £7

    Hi All 👋 ,

I've given my 31 days notice a couple of days ago and received a call from them yesterday offering the following
package (sorry no breakdown as I asked them to call back today after I had considered it - upto now no call 🤨!)

    Sky Signature
    Sky Sports - Complete Pack
    Sky Cinema
    Netflix (With Ads)
    Multiroom
    See it First
3D (I Know must be one of the last few still diggin the 3D)
HD & UHD for everything except Netflix

I was paying £59.50 (before the price increase - without netflix) offered £60.50.

Doesn't seem bad given other posts, might try to get them to up the Netflix if they ring back.

    What do you think ?

    Thanks

What number did they call you from?

I agreed £18 signature end of march. Not effected by April rise.  Now showing £20.50 due to the rise. Now have complained.

I just cancelled Sky Stream, intending to move back to Sky Q.

The agent cancelled down Sky Stream and gave me prices for Sky Q, but said I had to wait 31 days until Sky Stream was completely cancelled before I could order Q. Seems a bit strange as I'll be without Sky for some time, as I'll have to wait for an engineer appointment once I order in a month's time.

He gave me the following prices for Q (though I can't order at the moment):

    Sky Signature £24.50
    Netflix without Ads £10.5
    HD £5
    Ultra £2
    Cinema £10

I'll be getting rid of Cinema and Ultra HD anyway, but looks like the prices for the rest are still too high compared to other offers. Not sure how it will work for me though, as I guess effectively I will be a new Sky Q customer again, so I don't know if I'll be able to get win back offers etc.
  • Why is Netflix without ads so expensive? Is Netflix basic with ads free with Q like it is with stream?
