What about us sports fans? Can you please explain where you can get sky sports legally for the best price on the market? Thanks.Bakey72 said:
Completely agree about anyone who thinks they've got a deal. The prices some are quoting they've 'managed' to get on here are ridiculous. Get a firestick, get IPTV on it (from someone you know is reliable, there are some iffy providers out there) and you're all set. Even without IPTV there's plenty of ftv TV online as well as Prime, Netflix, Apple, Disney etc.Mat_Lock said:They really don't give 2 ***** about the customer. I finally got my last refund from them after months sitting rolling over every month. Quick to take money but slow to give it back.
Tried to get the guy on the phone to completely delete my account, information off their systems but they refused. I have no ties to sky at all now yet they want to keep my details on record. They still sending spam by letter (to my old address too despite me updating the details ages ago) and there'd no settings enabled for marketing.
Disgusting company and glad I'm rid of them. Anyone who thinks they've got a "deal" from Sky is delusional.1 -
You can't and that's the point. You'll pay whatever they dictate you to pay. The deal for £13 for sports, they'll still be taking at least 40% profitJ292 said:

If an IPTV provider via a firestick app isn't for you then get a VPN and subscribe to sports through different providers abroad. Or watch via NowTV as then you only need the pass for that on an as and when basis, you don't need the Now entertainment package as well like with Sky either. Or you just have to carry on paying Sky a huge amount of money instead. Football is now spread across Sky, BT and Amazon Prime Video and there is also talk of Apple+ getting into this. I have BT BB and can have just BT Sport to watch via their app if I like, no need for their entertainment channels as well and I wouldn't be tied in on a contract. Sky make you take their Signature pack first and it's an 18 month contract. If more Sky customers said no to excessive prices and cancelled then they'd have to reconsider what they charge. As I've mentioned on here before I dropped Sports and Cinema (but now have access to any Sports I want to watch for less), also my Signature, Netflix, HD and UHD Sky Q package is £21 a month with no contract, discounted for 18 months. Sky are still making a profit on me. In the last 2 weeks they've offered me both Sports and Cinema which would bring the total to £42 a month, I haven't taken these as want to completely move away from Sky when my discounted deal ends. Others are paying £60+ with these, again Sky wouldn't be making a loss if I took these offers on.J292 said:

My advice to anyone is completely cancel to try and get better deals but walk away from Sky if you can't.0 -
I called back the win back team after being cut off. 58 pounds per month for signature, sports, cinema, HD, ultra HD, netflix and multiroom. 30 pounds cashback and no admin fee. Also netflix is free for 4 months so its 52 per month for first 4 months. That's including any price increases this April.0

And for those of us without a reliable broadband connection?Bakey72 said:

If I walk away then I can't get the tv I want legally anywhere else - so stop trying to suggest we're being suckered. Without people paying what you consider stupid prices there'd be no cheap IPTV for the rest of you I think.1 -
Stay with Sky then.If out of contract though put in cancellation to try and get a better deal, they don’t seem to have many though. Certainly don’t pay them more than it is worth to you, I’d say see what BT have TV wise but Sky Sports via them is with NOWTV over BB. You haven’t got a lot of options unfortunately but this doesn’t mean Sky have to know that when negotiating otherwise you’ll definitely get nowhere.smallblueplanet said:

Yes, I posted earlier in the thread I'd accepted a deal:Bakey72 said:Stay with Sky then.If out of contract though put in cancellation to try and get a better deal, they don’t seem to have many though. Sky Q: Signature / Netflix / Sports in HD/UHD plus BB Superfast35 for 63/month plus £45 credit and no admin charges.0 -
That deal is ok, it's when I see people paying that much for those TV packages but without BB I get annoyed. Everyone pays different amounts, it was easier when Sky gave a % discount off their full prices instead of random amounts off each one.smallblueplanet said:

Well I tried getting a deal online again today with their "comeback squad" and got a very insulting deal (full works for £67 + a £40 admin fee, was paying £75).
Hey, I've been disconnected for 7 weeks, their offers are going up, not down!
I've packed their boxes up in the packaging they supplied, and they'll be gone next week...0 -
I didn't get much from the Chat team, so I rang the 0800 number and said 'Winback' when the automated system asked what help I needed. Better deals speaking to people I find, mostly if you get the winback/retentions/loyalty lot.Danszagl said:Well I tried getting a deal online again today with their "comeback squad" and got a very insulting deal (full works for £67 + a £40 admin fee, was paying £75)...0
