Trying to haggle on chat for a Sky Q deal, thought I might get a better deal if I asked about adding broadband too but they don't seem to either want to or are able to?
Anyone have any contact numbers for Winback Team or whatever they are called?
First number they asked me to call was 03337 594840
Then two days before disconnection, 03337 594451
  • Almost at the end of my cancellation period, pretty much had my prices back down to what I’m paying now after a 50% increase once my deals had ended.

However numerous bits had an admin fee - was told they mean Sky can offer longer deals (mine have always been 18 months before so I know that’s rubbish) and they weren’t negotiable. We ended the chat there and then.

Clearly they’d rather lose a customer for the sake of a few tenners in their account!
  • just been back on couldn't offer anything better than the original 61 that I was offered for the lot with a £20 admin fee. fair enough looks like it will be a dodgy stick

I cancelled and returned the equipment a couple of months ago. Just got offered Entertainment and Netflix for £20 on Sky Stream. 18 month contract.
I'm not interested in ever returning to Sky, too many better alternatives these days.

Limited choices where we are, so I finally accepted a deal that worked out in total (don't know the breakdown yet, as the bill is currently wrong!) at £63/month, for Signature/Netflix/Sports/BB(slow fibre) plus HD/UHD.

    £8.00
    £8.50

    Vodafone broadband @£20.00

    Total £70.50

agreed to this as the new contract for my elderly parents this evening they didn’t want the hassle of switching and are saving £5.50 than the previous contract which is a result for them as they don’t get out much at all.

Just been cut off today. No calls from sky for 3 weeks. No offers by email or anything. Got a text message to call the winback team but the offer was insulting. Who in their right mind would pay 70 odd pounds per month for tv? On the verge of buying an apple tv box or fire stick. Once I do it though there's no going back! Interestingly enough I've had no communications about returning the sky q equipment. They sent the return packaging within the cancellation window 18 months ago!

They really don't give 2 ***** about the customer. I finally got my last refund from them after months sitting rolling over every month. Quick to take money but slow to give it back.

Tried to get the guy on the phone to completely delete my account, information off their systems but they refused. I have no ties to sky at all now yet they want to keep my details on record. They still sending spam by letter (to my old address too despite me updating the details ages ago) and there'd no settings enabled for marketing.

Disgusting company and glad I'm rid of them. Anyone who thinks they've got a "deal" from Sky is delusional.

Completely agree about anyone who thinks they've got a deal. The prices some are quoting they've 'managed' to get on here are ridiculous. Get a firestick, get IPTV on it (from someone you know is reliable, there are some iffy providers out there) and you're all set. Even without IPTV there's plenty of ftv TV online as well as Prime, Netflix, Apple, Disney etc.

I would be a sky member if like Netflix and prime there was a set fee for it all at a decent price £30 and no contracts and only a price increase once in a blue moon.
