Well that's me set to cancel and Sky don't seem to care in the least.

Signature, Netflix, HD and Disney+ at the moment for £31 a month going up to £41 in May with some discount still running on Netflix and HD for another couple of months I think so another £8 or so to add later on.

They wouldn't even give me an option except full price so I'm obviously one of the customers they want rid off.

They offered to add broadband which would open up other discounts but changing from £22+anytime calls(NowTV) to an 18 month deal averaging £33 with no calls for the same BB service didn't make much sense (to me at least).

I've just got to convince the wife that Virgin or even Freeview with the streaming Apps makes more sense.

    15+ years BTW.

Once you “cut the cord” with Sky it makes you realise what other options there are out there.

Trying to haggle on chat for a Sky Q deal, thought I might get a better deal if I asked about adding broadband too but they don't seem to either want to or are able to?
Anyone have any contact numbers for Winback Team or whatever they are called?

Same number isn't it, just say Winback when asked what the call is regarding?

I chatted with them a couple of days back and offered to swap BB back to them if it helped with offers (it didn't). In fact as a new customer you can get BB for £20pcm for 18 months with TV, they quoted me £17 for 8 months and then £40 for the remaining 10 months :(

Does anyone know if being with NowTV BB stops them offering any deals for Sky BB?

There are no more real deals to be had. Some clown at comcast thought they were being smart by massively increasing the standard price for the packages then offering everyone a big percentage 'discount' when taking out a new contract. Classic price anchoring. Probably the same idiot who had the bright idea to call all their customers a 'vip'. It's pure cringe when you ring them up and they patronise you as a 'vip'. Not long until I'm cut off now. Hoping many others take this stance

Stick your notice in, see what they come up with. I got offered the same package as you for £62.50 but no credit, so you've extracted more out of them than my 10+ chats!

They're gone now, and none of us are looking back.

There is so much more variety out there when you go and look for it...

Got this after our Sky TV was disconnected yesterday - a few quid more than we've been paying for the last year but less than it would have been after the usual April price rise. We'd be paying £16/month for netflix anyway so I look at it as £47 for sky TV to not make it feel quite so bad :)

Nobody would pay £133 for that package and this is what annoys me with Sky, there is no way that's the true full price. £63 is still a lot for it as well as far as I'm concerned but everyone has a different budget/what Sky is worth to them. I used to pay £44 for the same as this (just without Multiscreen) up until November last year when I cancelled Cinema and Sport (I was being offered it for £48) and got the rest for £18 then, from this month £21 a month. I wish more people would completely cancel Sky when not getting a good enough contract, & if staying refuse to pay admin fees as well

By having a high “book” price it makes the discount appear to be big.

The only real thing wrong with this approach is, no matter how big the discount an item is only worth what you’re willing to pay for it, discount or no discount!!!!

Most people are more Value/price conscious than Sky give them credit for.
