Can't seem to get anything out of Sky. Out of contract and cancelled as of 28/4. Todays offering:
Sky Signature at £21 a month
Ultimate TV add on (Netflix premium) at £7 a month
HD at £6
UHD at £3
Sky Q Multiscreen at £12
Sky kids at £3.50 a month
Superfast fibre broadband at £32
Sky Broadband Boost at £6
Giving me a bill of £90.50 over thier ludicrous quote of £120.50
Always thought I was "decent" at negotiating with Sky in the past but can't see a way forward this time0 -

I found they quoted me less each time I went on chat so maybe persevere, but there are also a few numbers you can try: 0333 759 4753, 4761, 4770 which have been on a few "Come Back" letters if you're that bothered about staying.1 -

Monthly offer received through post £29 for Sky Signature in standard definition, Sky Sports in high definition with one-off £10 admin fee.
Rang up and admin fee agreed to be waived.
Adding high definition for Signature will cost £6 extra making total monthly £35.
Price will increase in April by 8% bringing new monthly to £37.80
Price will increase again following April by another 8% making new price at least £40.82 during remainder of contract.
No offer of any credits, fixed prices or anything else.
Have not bothered.
Paying £37 total.
Not completely happy with NOW for F1 and also miss skipping ads on downloaded All4 dramas, BSB on Quest, ITV4HD along with a few other things.
Long session on SKY Chat.
Not a good deal but the person responding was hilariously Arthur Daley.
Tried everything to get me to sign.
Challenged annual price rises as me being 'qualified' to pay extra.
Anyway bottom line.
SKY Signature £17.
SKY Signature HD £4.
SKY Sports £17.
Sky Sports HD Included.
Total monthly cost £38.
18 Month Contract.
Price frozen for 18 Months.
Agreed to this providing written confirmation of price freeze by e-mail.
Apologies given, mistake made, price frozen until April 2024.
Unable to confirm offer by e-mail.
Didn't bother.

It's worth it for skipping ads on non-SKY channels.0 -
Accepted new contract last week with Sky .. Signature, Sports, UHD, multiroom for £48. Next day Sky ring…‘I can better the deal you accepted yesterday’!
Proceeded to cancel agreed contact, and give me new one for exactly the same as above, but now with first month free ! ..accepted that and now awaiting for phone to ring again! (Must be on commission)
Been with them 23 years…they only move once you have cancelled no matter how long you have been with them, prior to cancelling was going to be £68!0 -

When would be the best time to threaten to cancel?
I would ideally like to keep the same package and pay no more than i am now.
Looking at all the adverts for Sky stream, and Sky glass i was thinking they maybe gradually reducing the Sky Q take-up and trying to shift people on to the streaming options, hence reducing Sky Q retention offers. But we like Sky Q and the ability to record programs and not bothering with adverts, etc.... it´s just so simple to use.
Thanks0 -

I've seen someone with your package less the UHD get an offer at £53 pm after cancellation has actually happened.1 -

I´ll have to research the streaming boxes as an option just incase.0
