Coming to the end of my contract, only got Signature and Netflix, currently paying £13.50, went on chat and was offered the same for £29. No thanks.0

Contract is due up for renewal in may so contacted them via webchat today to place cancellation wasn’t offered anything to keep me which i half expected with there being 2 months left so the agent placed a future dated cancellation for me this is what my elderly parents are paying (I just manage the account for them in my name):
- Cinema
£12.00 0 -
Bunch of clowns at sky thought increasing my bill from 82.50 pounds (had been less before last Aprils price increase) to 100 pounds represents a deal. I even showed them their new customer deals on live chat and they were constantly trying to 'prove me wrong' about the deal. They were also pasting paragraph after paragraph of why sky are superior to all other providers. Had enough now. The deal in the post above for J292s parents looks reasonable. They can either send me a deal like that or I'm out.0

For the deal I got for my parents I let it completely cancel then contacted them a few days after to do a deal.If you are out of contract leverage is fully on your side play the game and put the ball in their court.1 -
Sky increased price only 3 months into contract even after assurance that no increase would be implemented during 18 month contract. Don't believe their sales pitch!0
