Latest. No sky for 3 months. They have offered below.
Signature inc HD £15pcm. 18 month contact, bill credit £30 for admin fee & April price rises. They have said my £15 will not change for contract.
    Signature + Netflix £20pcm.

May i ask if you still have the email with this offer what phone number have they provided? Thank you.
Hi, the number I use is 03337591318. I have been calling & been receiving better offers from Sky via email. Every time I call with the use of this forum they/I ask for a little bit more. I'm about to renew tomorrow for 18 months. the deal I hope to get is above. I agreed it in principle with a call handler last week. When you ring & the autobot asks the reason for your call, always use the 'come back to sky' phrase. Good luck

Quick update. I renewed today. Signature 15pcm, 18 moths deal. No HD. £30 credit. £10 fee waived. Unfortunately they would not give me HD as previously agreed. Price will rise in April.
I would have rejected it, you can get all channels in hd, and ultra hd for £5 a month through iptv

    Which IPTV do you use?
  • My renewal offer came through at over £132 per month.

A call to cancel got it down to £123pm. I rejected and initiated cancellation.

I received a call 4 days later which ultimately offered me £112.5 pm.

Also rejected this. I can get better broadband, a free mobile sim, lose sky atlantic but gain bt sport via virgin for £85 a month. I'm not a huge fan of their system, but it's nearly a £30 a month saving whilst getting more.

I'm waiting for a further phone call as we're still over a month from contract end date, but not expecting them to get close to the new customer offer from virgin.

Having priced up the best sky offers from various posts here, in theory they could get it down to £86 pm. I don't expect them to get there, but getting someway close would be nice. 11 year customer loyalty doesn't get you very get it seems.

Cancelled and returned equipment. Just had an email, Signature and Sports £33.
I won't be returning to Sky. It didn't say anything about the increase in April, but i expect its going up then.

Has anyone managed to get any sense out of Sky retentions about the April increase?

Today, an agent gave me an offer of £60 a month for keeping everything the same on my broadband and TV, with no increase in April.

He was adamant the main selling point of this offer was no April increase.

I phoned back a few hours later to confirm it,  and was told by the next guy that there would be a substantial increase in April, but he didn't really know what it would be. He was sure that he couldn't book anything in that would be protected from an April rise.

So frustrating. I might try again on chat tomorrow

Sky have just told my Sky signature package with no BB no UHD will be going up to £58 per month, I have cancelled after 23 year of being a Sky Customer
  • Until today, I was paying £45 per month for Sky Signature, Multiscreen and HD. Got an email from Sky last week saying this was going up to £48 per month.

Have just spoken to Sky on their live chat telling them I don't consider £48 per month reasonable. They have started a new 18 month contract with the same items for £36 per month, with a £10 one-off admin fee in the next bill. Happy with that.

That is strange we have the same Sky set up yet they did not offer me, your offer, over the phone, I would have accepted it. Never mind the cancellation is in and the balls in Skys court now. It will certainly be odd not having Sky after 23 years but there are other options out there.
