for 18 months. Check your emails people. What do you think?
Got exactly the same offer. £12 for sports sounds good, but it isn't just £12 is it.
It's £29 for sports and and some box sets.
It's daft that you are forced to take sky signature before adding anything else.
Any sky programmes i want i just sign up now tv for a month or 2 and can cancel whenever.0 -

Here is an interesting quote i found online from uSave who are probably unbiassed.IPTV is perfectly legal when the package purchased has permission from the copyright holder. Technically, all forms of catch-up TV are IPTV.
However, this changes when the boxes are set up in a way that allows them access to channels they shouldn't be able to. This is done with specialist software, providing a gateway to websites that illegally take advantage of channels being broadcast.
One of the challenges for the law is that the actual boxes used to access illegal content are often legal themselves.
If you are being sold all the sports and movie channels for £5 a month i would very much doubt that they have permission from the copyright holder to do this........
Please let me know if anybody knows better.

Of course it's illegal!
If Sky just had flat subscription rates across the board like Netflix or Prime then maybe a lot more people would come back and accept a certain cost. Add ons like Sport, Movies at a reasonable and fair cost and not different costs for every person that call. When you see adverts with Sky Sports £32 slashed to £12 why not just make it £12 for everyone.

Getting the topic back on track, just had a call from Sky and they offered me free Sky Q box, Signature HD and Sports HD for £37. Said no thanks and he came back with £31 and no admin fee. Tempted with it, but might wait it out for a bit longer as current package has 3 more weeks before it stops.0
