Been onto chat this morning but couldn't even beat the price I was emailed last week.
    The wait goes on.

    Thanks.
    I'll do some research.
  • I renewed today at £48.50 (plus £10 admin fee) for 18 months, with Signature, Sport, Ultimate, HD, UHD and Multiroom. I was paying £50 previously, and the price was due to go up significantly. Initial offer when I contacted them to give notice was £53.50, text-offer during notice period was £56, a letter received during notice period offered £55 but today 1 hour after letting the services actually stop I went on text chat and immediately got offered £51 (with £20 admin fee). Then after asking to remove the admin fee he said he could reduce that to £10 but better the overall deal, which I took. My goal had been to at least keep it the same as before.

In case it helps anyone, my breakdown is:

    Signature 19
    Sports 12
    Ultimate 5
    HD 4
    UHD 1
    Multiroom 7.50
  • Went onto the online chat. They offered me £40 a month for the same package, so roughly 25% saving. I was happy to accept that.

    Signature £17
    Ultimate add on £6
    Sports HD £12
    HD £4
    UHD £1
  • Does anyone know how long you’ve waited before Sky have offered you a deal?

I started my cancellation period about 10 days ago and I’ve heard nothing from them.

I had Sky signature with Ultimate add on, Sky sports, HD and UHD. Was paying £52 a month, they offered to keep at the same price straight away but I’ve always got a better deal after cancelling so thought I’d do the same again.
Have you checked you got 'allow marketing' option ticked in your account so they can contact you? Otherwise try them on chat, they might make a good offer.

Was paying £27 for the following on old Sky+HD kit

    Sky Signature
    Sky HD
    Sky Cinema
    Sky Kids

Sky wanted to charge me £29 for
    Signature £19
    HD £4
    Cinema £6

or £34 if I want Sky Q with netflix

Decided not to accept and have left Sky for now and looking at alternative options.

So after 3 weeks of being disconnected I get a call from Sky with a new new offer:

Sky Q Signature £19 with hybrid LNB so I can go back to Sky+HD if they ask for Sky Q equipment back.
    HD £4
    Cinema £6
    Netflix £5
    -£50 Credit
So works out £31.22 per month.

I declined and said it's still too expensive considering others are getting Sky Signature + HD for only £15.

I'm getting used to life without Sky.

  • Due to be cut off on the 4th Feb. Had a missed call from sky yesterday and recieved a text linking to live chat. Just agreed a deal for the following.

    Signature £19
    Sports £12
    Netflix £6
    Multiscreen £8.50
    HD and Uhd £8

    £53.50
Quite happy with that so I took the deal and I managed to get the £20 admin fee waived.
