TV cancellation is much easier because it can be switched back on within hours if you get a better offer from Sky.0 -

Upto last month I was paying £97 for Broadband, sports, BT sport, cinema, Netflix, HD, signature and ultimate TV. At the end of this month it was going up to £140, ridiculous.
The best they could do was the same package for £122 so I put in my 31 day cancellation notice. I wasn't even prepared to renew on last months terms which were ridiculously high, let alone £122.
I guess now I look into other options such as freeview etc. Been with sky for 12 years, they thank you for your loyalty and then offer you ridiculous terms.
Do I chase them on online chats for a better deal or wait it out?
Can't imagine they'll phone me again before the cancellation goes through at the end of month so I guess that's it for me and sky.0 -

"Can't imagine they'll phone me again before the cancellation goes through at the end of month so I guess that's it for me and sky."
Years ago when my contract ended I got a call from them at an inconvenient time. I asked them to call back and the person gave me a window of an hour when they would call the following day. Ideal.
Never heard from anyone at Sky.
Cancelled and then a year or so later went totally TV free.
Wonder if there is/was anything good on.......
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
Sky is losing thousands of customers everyday primarily due to cost of living crisis or iptv (which can be had for £5 a month for every single channel)1

Unfortunately they’re still not budging on my original £69.50, I just want to get it down by £3 or £4 so when it goes up in a couple of months it hits the £69ish mark. Annoyingly I noticed my contact preferences were all off so I didn’t ever get an offer from them short of a service text message reminding me my contract was nearly over and I doubt I will now (unless they call a week before?) anyone got any advice on how I can get them to bring it down further? Running out of ideas, don’t know why they put us through this stress every 18 months…0
