Nothing special, sky signature for £16 and kids for 2.50 a month. Nothing about broadband. How close to your cut off date were you when you got them offers?0

I've currently got TV Package + Full Sports in HD. I have a Sky+HD box (not SkyQ). Price recently went up from £36/month to £39/month after nationwide increases. Contract is up next month and due to go up to over £70/month.
Went on the chat and said I wanted to leave, and got offered the following:-
"Sky Signature at £16 a month (that's a £15 discount with an 18-month contract)
HD at £3 (that's a £4 discount)
Complete Sports at £19 (that's a £13 discount with an 18-month contract)
This brings your total to £38 a month and saves you £576 over the 18 months.
Offers will start today and a one-off admin fee of £20 will be added to your next bill.
We've charged admin fees for about 18 months now, in response to customer feedback. Before Admin fees, our offers would not cover the full contract. For example a 10 month offer in a 12 month contract.
This covered our admin costs but meant you would pay full price for the last two months.
The admin fee lets us guarantee the discount for the full length of the contract and for a longer period. 18 months discount in an 18 month contract, and charge the fee upfront so you know exactly what you're paying and why.
As a goodwill gesture I can apply a £10 credit to the account which in turn would half that admin fee"
They also threw in a free Sky Q 1TB upgrade. I declined and asked for my cancellation to be put it - which they did. Anybody think this was a good deal that I've turned down (I don't think it's that good). I've already been on My Offers page and can see I can get Signature + Sports + HD for £35/month - no mention of SkyQ though although I'm not that bothered unless it's with multiroom.

Just been through a similar process myself and you did the right thing by telling them to stick it where the sun don't shine. When your cancellation has been processed check out https://www.sky.com/shop/select/pending-cancel/choose-packIn my case the following offer was offered which is actually cheaper than I was paying pre April price increase as a Sky VIP Diamond member:-Sky Signature (includes Box Sets) @ £16.00 per month on an 18 month contract.
Sky Sports - Complete Pack with Free HD @ £14.00 per month on an 18 month contract.
Total Monthly Cost @ £30.00 per month on an 18 month contractI don't take their standard HD pack (point of principle - I won't pay for something that should be free!).

I have come to the end of my contract I believe (it's so hard / impossible to find contract end dates on your account on the website) back in January. I'm still on Sky HD as the building is not ready for Sky Q (despite what Sky's website says). We are hoping to sell our apt and move to a house in the area this year, in which case I'd be hoping to be able to upgrade to Sky Q.
Is there much hassle in moving addresses/upgrading to Q whilst in a contract? Or should I just hold off a few months and see how things go with the house move.0
