the woman I was speaking to also kept on mentioning the following when I just told her I want to put in my 31 days notice, she reckons I cant get anymore offers to stay once my account is in the cancellation status, this is just a total bluff isnt it? its not something new since last time I had to deal with them 17 months ago

This will mean you wont be able to have any offers for 12 months once you go into cancellation status
And this will also lose you all the tenure and amazing rewards and benefits you get from this Alan
Is there no way I can help to keep you with the Sky Family today

If we do place the cancellation
I do need to make you aware you will lose all your amazing tenure you have accumulated
And with this all the offers we have discussed are you sure you want to do this
As they will no longer be available once your account goes into cancellation status,

Usual spiel they give, but they are right about one thing, the offers they want to give you won't be available anymore only because the offers they give you after cancelling will be better😂.0

Apart from Sports at £14 instead of £19, most other things in package I was negotiating actually cost more on my deal than was offered on live chat..so note of caution. It normally is better to cancel for best deals though. Having said that I was offered better prices than FUrake..but that was before price increase, the sports definitely sounds high, signature you could couple of quid off, movies possibly too.Gold123 said:Usual spiel they give, but they are right about one thing, the offers they want to give you won't be available anymore only because the offers they give you after cancelling will be better😂.

I had been paying £2 for sky sports HD last 17 months, there is no option tho for sky sports HD, only the HD for £3, does sky sports HD come as standard now? also no option here for multiroom so im guessing id just be paying the standard £14 a month0 -

That sounds like exactly what happened to me when I said I want to cancel (on page 396)FUrake said:the woman I was speaking to also kept on mentioning the following when I just told her I want to put in my 31 days notice, she reckons I cant get anymore offers to stay once my account is in the cancellation status, this is just a total bluff isnt it? its not something new since last time I had to deal with them 17 months agoat 14:07, Feb 19:

Now with the price increase of £3 extra a month, it doesn’t feel like I’m on a deal now. I have Signature £22, HD £7, Superfast Broadband £19 = £48 a month.0 -
Im paying £2 for Sky Sports HD, reduced from £6 this was agreed a month agoPZ19 said:

Is this a good deal that I’m on...
Sky Entertainment £19
Sky Sports £17
Cinema £11
Sports HD is free
HD £2
this is for the HD box not Sky q...
sky tell me this is a good deal and that it’s a exclusive ....
any opinions please0 -
Probably a bit too much - I'd want another £5 off - personally I think that Sports is getting too expensive with the lack of live stuff now. Cricket and Rugby Union have virtually vanished Just had an email trumpeting Sports highlights this week - Premier footy and Superleague netball !!!dazzaofdagenham said:Is this a good deal that I’m on...

Last time I "dealt" I got Entertainment and box sets in HD for £19 plus Sports in HD for £16. I was offered Cinema for an extra £8 but declined. My package is going up by £3 pm with the latest rises in April. I'll be cancelling in July if they don't come up with a sensible offer.0
