ok, so im almost at the time of handing in my 31 day notice, contract expiring end of march, my current deal is as follows below, anyone have any feedback on how much they are paying or been offered for roughly the same, cheers, did I read somewhere sky are now offering btsport? im getting ripped off on my current bt broadband/sports deal, contracted till november tho
anyone know anyway of getting out of this BT deal, would get a far better price for sky broadband and BT sports im guessing as im a diamond VIP with skySky Entertainment£17.00Sky Box Sets£1.00Sky Sports - Complete Pack£9.00Sky Cinema£8.00Sky Sports HD£2.00Sky HD£2.00Sky Q Multiscreen Pack£14.00See It FirstFREETotal £53.000 -
Think BT sports is expensive through Sky. 2 weeks ago was Signature £15-19, UHD £2, HD £2-3, Ultimate £5, Sports £14-19, Cinema £6 (on my deal) That was obviously before price rise. Don’t know multi roomFUrake said:ok, so im almost at the time of handing in my 31 day notice, contract expiring end of march, my current deal is as follows below, anyone have any feedback on how much they are paying or been offered for roughly the same, cheers, did I read somewhere sky are now offering btsport? im getting ripped off on my current bt broadband/sports deal, contracted till november tho

No easy way out of BT contract - you'd have to pay a penalty - don't know how much. I am out of contact on 8 March & switching to NowTV (owned by Sky) Superfast Broadband £24/mth incl anytime calls - which we like to have due to naff mobile signal (£17/mth less than BT's offer). Sky could not offer broadband in my area! I said they must be joking but .... To get BT Sport via Sky I was offered a £22/mth 18 mth contract or £25/mth monthly cancel anytime deal (this would work out cheaper - £21/mth - if cancelled for 2 months when no football on). It does have the advantage, if you have multiroom, of being available on all boxes. I was paying £16 for BT Sport from BT (on one box only). So, if I take BT Sport from Sky I'll be better off despite paying more to Sky than I was to BT for BT sport due to saving on broadband, but I will have the option to watch on any of my four boxes.FUrake said:ok, so im almost at the time of handing in my 31 day notice, contract expiring end of march, my current deal is as follows below, anyone have any feedback on how much they are paying or been offered for roughly the same, cheers, did I read somewhere sky are now offering btsport? im getting ripped off on my current bt broadband/sports deal, contracted till november tho

They did come back to me eventually and offer £76.50 a month, and a new Sky Q box (I wanted one that supports HDR) but still feels like too muchFilo25 said:

Signature £13 to £19Filo25 said:Any idea for what should be a target price for pretty much the full works on TV (less Kids) with no broadband or phone tie-in.
Looking at Sky Q with one additional room (already have the kit setup)
Full Sports (Sky + BT), Ultra HD, Netflix, Movies optional.
Just trying to get an idea for what is reasonable (initial price quoted was £84), also need to benchmark against Virgin anyway as I have my broadband with them.
Kids £1
Hd £1 to £2
Sky sports £15
Sky movies £5 to £8
Bt sport £13
Multiscreen £5 to £10
Ultra HD free
Netflix £2.50 to £4
Broadband superfast with tie in £18 to £25
No tie in £32
The above is all possible depending on the advisor you get
In the end they just came back with the £84 offer, so I cancelled.
Virgin were offering about half the price (albeit excluding Netflix) so I will go with that as the other option0 -
just spoke to someone on the live chat and was offered the following, the numbers dont seem to add up to £86.50, what am I missing? purely for the TV prices and not broadband it comes to £63.50 which is £10.50 more a month than ive been paying for the last 17 months so not great, guess next step for me is to phone up and see what they offer over the phoneFUrake said:ok, so im almost at the time of handing in my 31 day notice, contract expiring end of march, my current deal is as follows below, anyone have any feedback on how much they are paying or been offered for roughly the same, cheers, did I read somewhere sky are now offering btsport? im getting ripped off on my current bt broadband/sports deal, contracted till november tho
