Getting same deals on that mydeal page too.
    £17 + £2 + £1
    Did you actually cancel?
    Yup
  • My deals come to an end soon. I'm currently getting:
    Sky Signature at £16
Sky Sports Complete pack at £14
    Sky Sports HD for £2
    Sky HD free
    Sky Go Extra free
and Sky Broadband Superfast for £17 making my monthly total £49.

I thought I'd try my luck on chat today and see what offers were available.
Because my contract runs out at the end of March 2021 I was offered:
Sky Signature for £18 (with a new 18 month contract)
    Sky HD for £3
Sky Sports Complete pack for £21 (New 18 month contract, No mention of it in HD)
Sky Broadband Superfast for £25 (New 18 month contract)
    New monthly total £67!
Oh and a £20 admin fee on the next bill!!
They also offered me an upgrade to Sky Q for free saving £199 but as I live in a tower block I don't think I can get this as I don't think we're set up for it yet.
They then said "All our offers are point of call only" when I said that the previous offers I had was a better one, So I said thanks, but no thanks!
I'll try again when my contract has nearly finished instead and see what they offer then.

They are really taking the mick now re sports pack - they have lost so much sport over the past two years (eg virtually all watchable Rugby Union, all lot of cricket) that ,unless you are a Premier League football groupie it's not worth anything like that -and the admin fee leaves me speechless!!
  • I put in cancellation for a friend a week or so ago, and mydeal is offering
    TV
    Sky Signature£19
    Sky Sports
    £14
    HD
    £1
    Ultra HD
    £2
Which seems good, but I have Sky Q and multiroom already, if I accept the offer with the accept button does my Sky Q carry on and what will they charge for multiroom?
Also I'd like to add broadband but can't see anything on the mydeal page to do this, what would be the best route to take?
    Thanks

If multiroom offer is not showing on mydeals page they would charge full price for it think its £10 to £14 a month, for broadband id recommend "now broadband" its cheaper and you get free anytime calls

Thanks, If I click the 'Take My Offer' button does it instantly accept, or will it go to another page to show a full breakdown before it applies?
I'd also like to add BT Sport for them too if possible.

I cancelled my Sky.They kept banging the price up,were totally intractable about a better  deal.Bought a freesat box,so I can pause, record etc.I have Netflix and Prime too.Best thing I did! The week before the contract ended, they came in with a very good offer.I still told them to stick it!
If anyone is thinking about a freesat box,I can highly recommend them.

I’m definitely thinking of ditching Sky.  Our contract is up at the end of January and we find we hardly ever watch Sky.  We have Netflix and Amazon Prime.  The Sky equipment is at least 12 years old!  I’m very tempted to buy a box to record such as Corrie which we never watch live.  Any recommendations for a good buy, please.
What are the disadvantages of losing Sky?

It usually accepts straight away but sky manually process in with 3 working days, I would suggest taking bt sport out separately i got it down to £13 a month

Thanks, did you just negotiate the £13 with Sky after on their chat?
