I’m a sky vip platinum member who is up for renewal. I got sky ent , kids, sports movies multiroom hd and super fast broadband for £76. Now they want to offer me the same at £98.50 !!! Tried to negotiate but no go so I’ve put in for cancellation a week ago - heard nothing from them since. Anyone got any advice on getting a better deal?

Bit late now - but it's usually best NOT to cancel b/band - just cancel TV portion. Then when /if they phone/email with an offer on the TV you can negotiate for a better b/band deal.
They can sometimes be very quick on b/band cancellation which means that you have to pay for a "new" connection with a fresh ISP and may lose your phone number. Also fibre connections can be in demand in your area ,so that you can find it becomes unavailable when you go to a new ISP.
Always better to find a deal for broadband and let the new provider tell Sky of the move.

I think what he means by "my deals" is log in to the Sky website and the point your browser to www.sky.com/mydeal . I have not yet reached this stage myself.

Ok I had my cancellation call with Sky. Was paying £48 for full package - Entertainment, Ultimate on demand, Sport, Cinema, Kids (which was free) all of which I'd had for the 18 months since installation. HD and Sport HD add-ons too, but not Ultra HD, not BT, no multi room. Also recently added Disney+ for £5.99 so £53.99 each month. Had no interest in keeping Kids, and Cinema we are happy to let go. The projected price of the package outside of the 18 months was £98.99.

Spoke to a nice lady told her I wasn't getting enough use out of Sky: Freeview, Netflix and a dabble with Disney+ is enough for us. The best she could offer with Cinema and Kids removed as requested was £51 (ie £56.99 with Disney+).  I said that was too much and that was her only offer so we confirmed the cancellation.
Five minutes later at http://sky.com/mydeal I could see this deal

    Signature £19
Ultimate TV £6 (actually calculates as £24 for Signature + Ultimate when applied together)
    Sport £14
    HD £1
    Total £39
(Not taken: Cinema £5, Kids £2)

    Questions -
    1. Shouldn't there be an email telling me to log on and read this deal? I only know about this page because of this thread. I've had two emails about cancellation but neither mention better offers.
    2. I can see others have achieved £15 for Signature - is there still room to haggle below "my deal"  if so where/how would you do that? Another call or text chat? Can they actually access and play with that offer or will they suddenly say "the best I can get is £51 (or more)?". Am I pushing my luck after only 18 months of subscribing to try and beat this deal?
    3. The page is silent on Sport HD and Disney+  - does Sport HD no longer cost extra? Or do I have to pay the full undiscounted price for this? It doesn't appear to show up as an add on for new customers anymore either?
I actually think £39 or £45.99 with Disney+  - seemingly with no admin fee - is pretty good and don't want to miss out of this offer...but every little helps.

    Signature SD £15
Sport HD(you have no choice) £14
SKYQ 1TB box free - six week installation lead.
    Admin fees refunded.
This was my 'come back to Sky' offer yesterday - did not take them up on it.

Hi Everyone. I have been looking through the last couple of months pages to have a look at the deals, as I am not out of contract. I noticed a few saying they had been on chat with sky. Where is that now? - it looks like they have the shut service. Am I right in thinking I have to call to renegotiate a deal? I am a platinum sky member, but that doesn't seem to get better deals, so ia hev cancelled in the past and then got a better price.
