Yea I could do, although I’ve seen deals with plusnet and talk talk with cashback and vouchers so considering then also, just hope they’re decent enoughmits999 said:
You can move to now broadband £24 a month gets you 67mb broadband and anytime calls to landlines and mobiles £24 a monthTheVillager said:Hi everyone, my sky BB and talk ends in 6 days, I haven’t heard anything from them but chatted a couple of times and got the same old £27 p/m deal. Is there anything else I can do or just take it or leave? Thanks

Doesn't sound like I'll have much luck. I'll probably try and reduce the package gradually when each element comes out of contract. Definitely going to get rid of Cinema, Multiscreen and Broadband Boost when I can.mits999 said:
I'm afraid you got little chance getting any discount only people who are in 30 day notice period can successfully get discountccdorset said:
It’s a bit of a mixed bag, Cinema runs out July, Broadband in December and Signature/Multiroom Jan 22. 😥mits999 said:
You need to put in cancellation otherwise they won't entertain a price reductionccdorset said:I'm still in contract, but was hoping to get a better deal with Sky if I agreed to a new 18 month term again.
I'm currently paying £68 per month for:
Signature = £18
Ultimate TV Add On = £4
Cinema = £8
HD = £3.50
Multiscreen = £8.50
Ultra HD = Free
Superfast Broadband = £21
Broadband Boost = £5
Thought I might be able to reduce it a little, but contacted Sky on chat and had no luck. :-(
How long left to run on the contract?0 -

You may find that Cinema can be removed now, I think your main contract is the Signature. I thought that any additional packs could be cancelled anytime. So worth checking if you don’t need them.ccdorset said:

Unfortunately I've just checked and I'm in contract on Cinema until 12/7/21 :-( Still, it's not too long to go until I can remove it and save some money. :-)Mastanlem said:

            Hi all,
I have a couple of questions im hoping one of you can help with
Does the mydeal link still work and if so how long after cancelling does it take to activate?
I was offered a "recontract" deal on sky.com, does anyone know if the mydeal offer is likely to be better than that?
Thanks,
Anthony0 -

What deal have you accepted?0 -
            Hi all,
All the info in this thread has been really helpful. I'm moving house in March, already out of contract for my broadband and my Sky TV finished on the 12th of March.
Called them to cancel a few days ago, they offered me a price similar to what they offer new customers which isn't bad, however knowing I'd get a better deal if I canceled I gave my notice yesterday.
Today on the mydeals page I have:
Sky Signature: 17
Ultimate: 6
HD: 1
Better than what they offered pre-cancellation, but I'm wondering:
1. Am I not getting any broadband quote? Or does the mydeals page only show Sky TV deals?
2. I'm getting a 4k TV so keen on having the ultra HD pack instead of the HD pack, however it's not an option on the page. Have you been able to customise what is offered on the page? Is my best bet to wait longer or just give them a call?
Also I only got access to this page because I knew the URL, however it hasn't appeared anywhere in my account. Haven't received an email either. I wonder if it's still being generated and whether I'll get more options later on.
Personally I'd prefer to keep my Sky TV instead of going for Now TV (which I've had in the past - still prefer Sky TV)
Thanks!0 -
            Has anyone had issues cancelling? I tried to cancel yesterday and it didnt work, tried again today and it seems the system thinks i have a pending change so wont cancel. Waiting on their back office team resolving but dunno how long that will take0

            Has anybody got a UK phone number for Sky UK based call centre as i need to ask them about an upcoming Sky Q install that requires a Hybrid/smart LNB to be installed for Sky Q and Freesat box to work.
I have called yesterday and all i got was a non UK centre and i was told them what i needed and was told all i needed would be installed on the day.
When i placed the order on 11/12/2020 the earliest date for install is 29/01/2021 and that i would need to call up a few days before to request a Hybrid/Smart LNB.
On a side note i have seen on Sky website that due to COVID installers WILL NOT be able to enter peoples homes to install the boxes and the client will have to do all the set ups themselves but the installer will talk you through it on the phone or through an open window. Has anybody had this done this way i the past 3 or 3 weeks?0
