Update:
for anyone coming out of contract and facing price increases put aside a day and be persistent. I've just got a very good package, everything I have now except for kids and a new 18 month contract for just £2 a month more than I was paying. It has taken me over 3 hours of being persistent and keep asking to cancel, but the whole lot, HD SkyQ sports etc for £44 a month.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Cancelled Saturday. Still nothing in My Offers on the My Deal Link but was sent a message offering the opportunity to chat more about continuing service. Decided to have a look. Was offered:
Sky Signature for £19
HD for £2
Sports for £12
Cinema £11
Multiscreen £10
Total: £54 + £10 admin fee on an 18-month contract.
Turned it down because I don't want to enter into an 18-month contract and I still think it's too much, but thought I'd post as an example of the offers they're giving. She would always like to say,

My bill has gone up substantially even though I should have had a month or two left on the agreed terms, they will not take my call and warn that if you use Live chat you might wait 2 or more hours. I am on live chat using the option 'cancel subscription' and am about 50 minutes in on my wait now.
There is no other way seemingly to cancel at the moment, I am sure you used to be able to cancel direct from the account, but it no longer seems possible. You can still get through, yiu do not have to prove you are a key worker or nhs at all, the IVR System says they are prioritising vulnerable customers and key workers but you can still get through, you may just have to wait a little longer than normal.. they do not ask for proof0 -

With the abundance of streaming services now, I've already pretty much built my perfect TV service on my Fire Sticks and none of them have a minimum term. I don't have sports, of course, but I'm sure I can live without them. She would always like to say,

Does sky.com/mydeal only work after you have cancelled an account ?I have been with them for 20 years and am considering cancelling since I have been paying £40 for the works for the last 18 months and have been offered a £68 deal - which is not good enough0

Definitely not the best price ever, but only £3 more than I was paying but now includes UHD and Netflix and let us move from our separate £12 Netflix subscription.0 -
My SKY and BB are up for renewal. I had a great deal before £48/month for SKY + entertainment, HD and 59Mbps BB. This is now costing me £59/month.They are offering this plus will throw in box sets for £50/month. They said they can do this on a 2GB Sky Q box as well.Any other options, does this seem ok ? They seem to be willing to negociate on TV but nothing on BB. I actually get 66Mbps and the service has been very good. The other annoying thing is I have to sign up for 18 months but that seems the norm nowOh and I bet they will put it up over that 18 month period.0
