I'd have said the fibre isn't bad although I'd have wanted anytime calls included at that price. Although you can get cheaper (presuming that the cashback tracks which isn't a given) the downside of that is that you're now stuck with Vodafone CS if something goes wrong. I would have more trust in Sky personally than Vodafone.
Many thanks Colin, looking at other posts, if I leave Sky BB, then I may lose the discounts on my TV? and all in all, this is still not a bad deal right?? I may stay on this then? Been out of contract about 2 years now, so amazed they havent wacked my bill up!!0 -

Leaving their BB shouldn't affect your TV discounts in the slightest and vice versa.0 -
Last night I went on Live Chat and threatened leaving and was given the following offer straight after getting through to someone after the robot questions.
Entertainment £11 for 12 months, then £22 for 6 months.
Box Sets £2 for 18 months
Kids £2 for 18 months
Cinema £8 for 18 Months
HD £2 for 18
(£25 for 12 months then £36 for 6 months)
Asked a couple of questions then went to accept the offer but the operator was at the end of their shift so said we'd pick up the conversation this morning. Went back on this morning and confirmed the offer to be told they'd managed to drop Box Sets, Kids and HD to £1 for 18 months so my final deal is.
£11 + £1 + £1 + £8 + £1 = £22 for 12 months, then £33 for the next 6 months.
My current deal (Above without cinema is £33 a month) so very happy with the result for very little effort.
At the moment I've got Sky Entertainment for £17 p/m. Is there way I could reduce it further?

Hi
I'd appreciate any opinions on this please - we're currently with sky and pay £66 for phone line rental, bb unlimited, box sets and and sports. We're moving house so thought i'd see what they'd offer me. They've offered me:
Sky Q (free installation), Ultimate on demand, Fast broadband and phone £63/month and an extra £4 if we'd like childrens.
i did want Sports too but that was an extra £23/month.
Does this sound good?
Many thanks:beer:Life's too short for wasting on ifs and might have beens...........0 -

No, that sounds terrible. Have a look at the last couple of pages or so to see what to aim for.0 -
After waiting to the end of my termination period, the offer was still the same as before. Didn't feel the extra £11.50pm was low enough to upgrade to SkyQ 1tb. Gone for the following...
- Sky Entertainment - £15 // Due to a £12 off
- Kids - £1 // Due to a £4 off
- HD - £1 // Due to a £4 off
- Box Sets - £1 // Due to a £4 off
- Cinema, Sports & HD - £22 // Due to a £19 off
Total for 18 months contract = £40 (and a new Sky+ box)0 -

Which box did this get you? and what level VIP are you. I had this quote for £46, no new box though. So yours seems much better.0 -
have just had my first `come back to Sky we miss you email`... £17 for entertainment, £12 for Ultimate and £1 boxsets, HD etc. They will have to do a lot better than that! Won`t commit again unless can get entertainment for at least £11-12.
This is the only contact I have had from them since we gave notice to leave, we have been cut off now for 10 days.0 -

Thanks Colin_Maybe, Have spoken to Sky again but there's no movement so have cancelled.Life's too short for wasting on ifs and might have beens...........0 -
Has anyone had their discounted period end, eg £55 and then it jumped to £120 BUT managed to get Sky to refund you? As I had asked them to notify me of any price changes when the discount was ending, but I did not receive any warning.
Thanks,
Jon0
