  • I am on the VIP scheme, I'm gold level. Although I have been with sky longer on a different contract as a student.

I didn't mention VIP, just that I had been with sky for a long time. Is it a case of using online chat again?
  • I am a Sky Customer for 12 years, contract expiring in four weeks. Currently paying £73 a month for the full Sky Q package. Requested cancellation and they offered me immediately the full Sky Q package for £67 a month, which I rejected and asked for the cancellation to be processed.

Is the above a good deal or should I wait for a better offer prior to cancellation?? The cancellation request was 2 days ago.

Where would relevant offers be on the Sky Q box??

    Thanks,

    C

You have to be a Diamond member to get free Q setup (15+ years) although they are adaptable in my experience. VIP length of service has to be continuous with no break at all.

I think you can do better. I've been with them for 8 years and have a better offer. £40 for everything on Sky+ or £51.50 for SkyQ (1tb)

Streety - when you say "everything" could you tell us what please, just so we have a reference. Thanks

I assumed everything refers to all channels but I guess it could be broadband/line rental as well.

My offer was just for the TV.

    So i finally accepted:

    Sky Entertainment Pack @ £15pm

Sky Q Multiroom @ £13pm

Sky HD Pack @ £1pm

    Sports HD @ £15pm

    Total = £44pm for 18 months.

It took a fair bit of haggling though! they refused to offer less that £57pm to begin with. I cancelled in September and the signal went off last week. Supposedly they'd also sent out the packages to return the boxes, but a 5 minute live chat last night and they offered me the deal i was asking for for 6 weeks. I'm happy with the deal as its saved me £11 a month over what i was paying last year.

I'm sure i could have gone even lower but i was never after a stupidly good deal, just value for money. I just wish i didn't have to go through 3 phone calls and 5+ live chat conversations over 6 weeks to get the deal.
  • Was offered the following

    Sky entertainment £20
    Sky hd £1
    Sky kids £1
    Sky cinema £11

Sky not budging this time. Time to let it disconnect and move on...

    Hi All
I’m well out of contract, and have been for a long time but am getting big discounts do not sure if I could do any better?
Using 2 old sky hd boxes, both split with magic eyes to 2 other rooms, so upgrade to skyQ not a viable option IMHO?

    Am paying:-
Box set package with multi room £33.75
    Bb(fibre) & Talk £36.50
Total £70.25 per month (Includes £34.95 total discount)
We don’t use the house phone at all.

Is this still a good deal? Thanks in advance
