Sky Entertainment £11 a month for 18 months

Sky Fibre Unlimited average £21.33 a month for 18 months
    - Fibre £9.01 a month for 18 months, reduced from £20
    - Line rental £8.99 for 12 months and then standard £18.99 for 6 months
    - Total £18 for 12 months and then £28 for 6 months

I tried to get the line rental offer for the full 18 month contract, I tried to shorten the contract to 12 months, and I tried to get £50 credit but I did not succeed.

That's a good deal, the only thing I'd double check is that you are still on UL.

As said many, many, many times in this thread, the best deals come after you have put your notice in. Not just ringing up. Now you have actually put in your notice, you may find the offers come in.

You're not really expecting anything different with Virgin are you?

Do the half price sky deals come along on a regular basis or is it random? Just realised our virgin contract has come to an end so looking to either get a new deal elsewhere or at least be able to haggle with existing provider.

you can cancel at the end of contract and then get customer retentions to see what they can given you, but I've not had much luck with virgin in the past so don't really touch them now a days

They don't come along as such, they're usually for existing customers who are happy to schedule a cancellation and actually leave. For new customers (i.e. you) they're offering Entertainment plus HD for £20 at the moment.

Hi Sky just offered me a new deal after a lot of work managed to get this down to a very good deal - though when i took it out it went up £3 by th next day - i wasnt told that the offer could change. So i still continued as deal was still not bad, but as i also was offered SKY q for £65 main box and £20 for mini box i was passed to the SKY Q team whom turn round and said we can t do that for that price! I have done this all via FB Messenger as this is the only chat service SKY provide now! but i i'm now waiting for someone to get back to me on this! Question can they (SKY) change the deal after you accept?
