Sky TV retention deals ( post your haggling successes )

I have placed my 31 day cancellation (currently paying around £65 per month for full TV and fibre broadband package, but sick of rubbish broadband signal and no movement re Sky Q (I'm happy to pay extra per month but not installation charge).
I have immediately been offered 30% off, would this be off the price above or off the normal full price (£125+ per month)? Do you think they will offer something via Sky Q or should I just call them back and say I have made a terrible mistake?
Thanks,
C0 -

If I'm reading that correctly you say you've agreed to pay around £88 (if 30% off full price which it will be). Shouldn't you have got clarification before hand? If it's an extension to an existing installation I don't think there's any cooling off period either.
Edit: having read it again you've just got a cancellation order in so ignore the above,0 -

It's not if you currently have 75% off and £100 credit.0 -

It wasn't someone in the Scottish office was it, as I called a day early because of long waits and Greg said I'd be cut off on 17th,but I pointed out that I'd given notice to go off at midnight on 18th,the last day of my offer.
He agreed, but the email said it would go off on the 20th,which would cost me two days at full price (no huge amount but their mistake). I pointed this out and the next person agreed with me and said it would be put right with an email sent. It came but said it would go off on 17th of this month(which had already passed; they had copied my notice date)
I called again and spoke to a lady who said it was referred to a manger but nothing done. She then found the account locked (as I'd added something which she agreed was rubbish) so had to refer to the back office.
No email, so I called yesterday and my account does state an 18th November cut off but the back office is somewhat slow.0 -

Hi everyone,
First time in writing on a forum.
I have just written an article with a simple step by step guide on how to instantly get 50% off Sky Fibre.
It is something that worked for me and hope it can be of some benefit to others.
Is there anyway I can post the link to the article?
Thank you

I'm sure whatever you did would stop working seconds after it's published here...
Probably something along the lines of:- Go online to cancel it using the automated system
- It will say how great Sky BB is and are you sure
- Proceed with cancellation
- They ask why, you say too expensive
- By magic, a half price offer appears to stop you cancelling
At least that was my experience a couple of years ago with ADSL. It's the same process Sky use when you try and cancel your Now TV sub.0 -
Up until 3rd October I was on 60% off the box sets bundle and cinema, worked out at £22.40 a month. Most I was offered through retentions was 50% off, so I declined and let my services end.
Since 12th October I've been with BT for TV services as Sky never made a better offer, but today I received a call from them offering me The Original Bundle free for 4 months with no contract, so I took it and have that set up in another room.
I've checked my bill and future bills and the credit is there to cover the 4 months.0
