"I cancelled virgin TV and internet in June and I have had nothing from them, no email no phone call no letter. So much for cancelling and hoping for them to call with a better deal "0 -
That was a sarcastic joke.JSmithy45AD said:

It is just that others have said that they were contacted by Virgin, I was just sarcastically saying that not everyone is.0 -
Can anybody provide any retention telephone numbers please?
My contract doesn't expire for another three months, but I'm aware if no offers are forthcoming from Virgin Media's mainstream services there generally seems to numbers you can ring (retentions) which can offer deals.
Thank you.0 -
I called 0203-743-6947 this week and got directly through to Outbound Retentions. I also had 0203-743-6949 and 0203-743-6970. Good luck!whattochoose said:Can anybody provide any retention telephone numbers please?

I was nearing the end of my 2 year Volt contract for 250 (doubled speed) broadband, phone line and Anytime calls, when I received an email offering the same priced ( £27.99) package for another year. I asked for either a price cut to challenge LILAConnect and/or a 2 year contract. I got a 2 year contract, a price cut of 99p and the broadband increased to 500.

Hi how long was that before your contract end? Thanksmyth123 said:Got offered a renewal deal by email for £57 on a 2 year contract

I gave my notice a little over 30 days before my existing package was going to balloon to a silly price. I think the email arrived maybe a week or so after that. I am with O2 separately on relatively low sim only deal - not sure if that has swayed anything in the offer.mrspixie_2 said:

Overall really happy with the deal, I did the maths and with the internet and sports (which is what I mainly watch) would costs much more than that with any other provider. Goes up £3.50 per month each April, but hard to avoid that with the majority of providers now.3 -
Thank you, yes I think that’s a good deal as well 😁myth123 said:

Did you get a call at all from the outbound team in the week between when gave notice and when you received the email?myth123 said:
