Might be worth logging into your account and checking in there come renewal time.  I just did and it had an offer to renew to the same deal for another 24 months for a pound cheaper, or take the same package but with slower broadband for £6 less a month.  No messing about haggling or threatening to cancel.  I took up the second offer and have had a confirmation email through.  My price was £49p/m going up to £100p/m now down to £42p/m.
