Hi, my deal has finished with Virgin and cancellation in. With just a week left before they cut me off I wanted to see if anyone had managed to get a better deal for the full whack - 1G Volt, all sports including TNT, Netflix etc. was paying £62, they now want £88.

Had put in a cancellation for my 350 broadband, due to go off 9th Aug. Had received an offer of £33 when I cancelled.
Received 2 texts, offered the same package for £24 or 150 for £19. Kept the same I had now, good deal though would rather have 18m as have Cityfibre coming in 1/2 months in the area!0 -
I keep getting annoying calls from 08000528675. Today I got a call from a guy telling me that my present contract with special offers ends at the end of December, which it does. He then took for ever to get round to making an offer. Presently I pay £55.87 for M260 broadband, Virgin TV, V6 box, Mega TV, TNT Sports and Sky Sports (SD), Weekend Chatter landline phone rental.
After my present contract ends I'll be paying £155 a month. He told me he could offer £80 a month.
I cut the conversation short.
The next time this annoying number comes up, I'll just tell them that a month before my contract ends I'll be ringing Virgin and see if they can offer a monthly service charge I'm comfortable with.
If this is not forthcoming, I'll then put in my cancellation and see if retentions get back to me.0 -
Hi I put my cancellation in and services due to end 17th August, was paying £44.40 for 500 bb inc volt boost, talk anytime calls, mixed tv.
Was offered to keep same package at the same price.
Haven't had any calls yet, is it likely they will call?
Thanks0 -
