Just agreed M250 broadband for £17 a month. Ideally wanted a deal on my tv package but it wasn’t good so have settled for the broadband only.

Nice deal! Did you have to give notice of cancellation to get that?

Cancelled about 3 weeks ago with around 6 weeks left on my contract. Call from retentions a couple of days later and was offered M250 for £19 a month, said I would think about it. Went on live chat last night to try and take up the offer only to be told it would be now £25 so I said no thanks, then this morning I received a text message with this offer!

Further to my cancellation, they came back to me with a figure of £22 for 125Mb and weekend calls. I didn't accept.
I then decided to cancel my cancellation, as if I'm going to switch then I want to keep my number. Just placed an order with Sky for 150Mb and phone line, which comes to £19.63 after £72 cashback and a voucher for £105. The annoying thing is, I was paying £19.58 with Virgin after April's price increase, and was given the option to re-contract at the same price! Beginning to wish I had done so now!

What do you reckon I should be looking at for a package of Mixit TV with V6 box, M125 broadband and phone line with weekend chatter. Not made any calls yet and been offered £33.13 per month in my account. Would want to keep the current package rather than any upgrades. Been a while since I went through this, what's the best number to call?

Happy with my new offer. Was paying £65 for the same but with 500 BB.
Could be bothered doing the whole cancellation dance but  managed to get

    Mega volt Bundle
    2 boxes
    Sky cinema, sports, HD
    Mega tv
    tnt
    Netflix
    kids channels
    BB 1gig ultra
    Chatter anytime

Was offered for £81 but said no cancel
Then was offered £81 but with £10 off
Eventually got down to £71 per month( for 18 months) with a £75 credit added to our account

    That time again.

Put my cancellation in today. Best they could offer was £28 for 250mb. I was paying £25 for 500mb so didn’t think £3 more for half the speed was a decent deal.

Will see if they call me back.

Retentions called half an hour ago. The call got cut off and they e not called back. God that annoys me no end. Hate when that happens.

There’s no number to call them back is there?

If you have caller display or use 1471 (and there's been no calls since), it might show a number. IME it's always been from a mobile number. One even told me I could call him back on that number if needs be.
If the number was withheld, you're out of luck and better hope for a follow-up call...

They called back from an 020 number but literally got out ‘this is virgin media’ before it cut off again. Called that number back and it just says VM tried to call you etc.

I’ve so far had four calls all of which have cut off instantly upon saying hello.

Arte you receiving other calls OK? Obvious thing to check, but you want to be sure it's not a fault at your end.
Either way, try calling them on 150 (from a VM line) and report a fault. They'll probably go through the usual checking and confirm your line is OK, but you never know, they might put you through to someone who can help regarding an offer, or give you a different number to call.
