Virgin Media retention deals (post your haggling successes)

M100 broadband contract up in June. Called up retentions (long wait) and explained the other options I had and asked to cancel. They offered me a choice to stay on M100 at similar price or downgrade to M50 for £15 a month for 18 months which I was happy to take as don't need anything more than that and its a competitive price. (It includes the basic phone service too though I don't have one plugged in!)

Ultimate Oomph (upgraded from M500 to 1Gig due to Volt upgrade - Wife O2 Sim Card).
£77.99/month - Expires in 1 month. Let the games commence!

Currently paying £42.50 a month for M100 and phone (which I think is high). Contract ends in June so I am going to be calling them later and seeing what they can do. I will be cancelling unless they come up with something good.0

Sounds very similar. Currently paying £31.25 (Was £28) for M100 and weekend phone. Contract runs out at the start of June, so just phoned VM to see what they can offer. All they could offer is the same package for £26. So gone ahead with the disconnection.0

Online is advertising the same for £79 minus sports HD and talk anytime
Put in my cancellation this morning will see if outbound retentions call marketing preferences are all set so I'll see if they call0 -

Same as before (M600, Maxit TV, Landline unlimited) - £74.
Can get unlimited Sim Card BUT have noticed its cheaper for me to get an 02 Sim (Therefore Volt upgrade) for £8 for 40GB Data."Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity"0 -

Spoke to retentions today who offered ultimate volt for £105...... £80 to virgin (M600, unlimited landline, maxit tv sports and cinema HD with a mini box plus netflix) and £25 to o2 unlimited sim.... taking into account i pay vodafone for an unlimited sim it made sense to migrate that over to o2. Ive seen people mention that they have cancelled the o2 sim and it hasnt effected the virgin package or price is this still the case?? as i feel i may have etcs with vodafone0
