I did try again on chat got different person, initially offer was a lot worse then I mentioned oomph and I was told to ring there dedicated team., she said I would get for 75. Not rang yet though.PZ19 said:
I pay £56 for bigger bundle and sports, 200mb, weekend calls. I only got that from cancelling and getting call back from retentions. Sports are more expensive than movies, so that’s not the best price. When they called me they offered the ultimate oomph bundle for £79, which is everything sports movies, fastest broadband, SIM card etc..If you cancel you hopefully will get a better price when they ring you back. If they don’t call back you still have 30 days to change your mind. Decide what package you want and look around so you have an idea how much it would cost elsewhere, take into account cash back from the likes of Quidco also.mrspixie_2 said:I just did live chat, offered bigger bundle and movies broadband m200 and weekend calls for 74 pm and a 50 credit for first bill with 14 day cool off. I currently have maxit tv m100 and weekend calls for 65 pm. What do you all think ?0 -
If you don’t want to pay £75 and don’t want everything, I would put cancellation in. That package you on now ie not including the movies, I think you will be offered something in the forties..obviously absolutely no guarantee of that thoughmrspixie_2 said:

I currently have the Bigger Bundle with Sports, M350 Fibre and phoneline, which I don’t use, pay £99, up for renewal in June, what am I likely to be able to get it down to upon renewal? The price will go up to £138.

What a great help this forum is

As my bill had recently increased now totaling £71.50 pm for a phone and TV that is hardly ever used. I looked at deals on MSE, I contacted VM customer services to see what they could reduce or offer.
Spoke with a really helpful chat and by changing my telephone package from 'Talk more anytime' to Weekends 'free', reduced down to £51 pm, and kept the M200 fibre (tbf the fibre is awesome).
I also mentioned Im on an old Tivo box and for £25 one off fee, replaced that with the latest box. Im not that bothered tbh about the TV and Telephone, and quite happy now with 200Mb/s for £51 pm.
Saving £246 per year0 -

I'm on a decent M100 + talk weekend package - £21/month with most of an 18 month contract to run. I'm thinking it would be useful to upgrade to 200mb broadband - anyone got any idea what I should be aiming for in terms of additional costs?
