Must do some work instead of just watching and waiting for Dave to get home. :rotfl:0

I'm back from work and waiting the call to go collect him.
We are getting more donations and we are very very grateful to each and everyone
Got a fun competition on my fb about what colour his bandage will be as it does change colour each time.
Hoping it will be smaller so that he can start using his front leg, but they may want to keep restricting it for a while longer.0 -
Have you thought about setting up a Facebook page? Crowdfunding can get a lot of donations when people share posts from pages, and you know the whole internet loves a good cat story.
It's dead easy - click on the little down arrow in the top-right of Facebook and click 'Create page' and it walks you through it.
If you do a post on the page it'll be public and people can share it. People who like the page will see its posts in their feed. Because the posts are public, they're easy for people to share (unlike posts you do on your own wall which are normally only visible to your friends).
If you're posting updates on here and his crowdfunding page then it only takes a minute to stick them on Facebook too.And Facebook people will love the webcam for the next few weeks.

Updates on Dave.
He is doing really well, you can tell now he is a bit bored of the crate, nothing much we can do there, but i still get him out for a few hours on the bed watching TV, getting scratches and fuss where we both generally fall asleep, me being back at work and then feel sleepy once on the bed.
Managed to remember to get some pet wipes today so that i could clean him as he stinks of wee, poor lil man.
so whilst he was nose deep in his tea i gently wiped him.
Changed the litter over to a grit type that absorbs his wee and takes the smell away as the back room smells of cat wee now, no matter if the windows are open, and that every time he uses the litter tray it gets emptied straight away and cleaned out.
He's booked in next week to have his *whisper* nuts removed. He will be under anyway for the bandage change and so it's time to loose his crown jewels, this we think is why he is in the mess he is in now, as he started to roam at night looking for love.
So hopefully by the time he is allowed out to play in the garden, he won't go far (if i had my way he won't leave the garden, we are going to make getting out the front more difficult as we have a alleyway between our house and next door, a gate will be put in place that none of our cats can get passed)
Each day he is getting stronger and better, a far cry from when i found his soggy broken body on my doorstep a few weeks back.0 -

Try another browser?
Cam is on as we speak.
or refresh?
Dave was extremely vocal this morning, kept looking toward the open window (don't panic can't get anywhere near it + locked in crate) My heart melted, of course he want's to be outside checking his area etc. We had cuddles he was still very vocal. Had most of his breakfast, and more fusses.
He seems settled now after the fuss and breakfast, I hate to leave him but as i am back to work 4 hours a day (I really have to ) he is on his own but the room is cosy the door is always open (room door not crate) for the dog and other cats to nose in.
But he is also being a good patient, resting lots, i notice he is using his back legs more rather than just spread out he will tuck them in for a bit. Stands up for a stretch.
He is getting better :T:T just a long road for the little chap.0 -

We sussed out why Dave was being vocal, his bandage has been slipping off
Husband dashed him over the vets this eve (we have an appointment for the morning) as Dave has been trying to stand on it with the bandage so far down there would be a risk to snapping whats been pinned.
Although the fixed his bandage but not under sedation this time, apparently he just led there and let them get on with it - awwww
So that saves the morning trip, and a few pennies as they didn't need to sedate, and Monday is snip snip day, then last bandage change a week Friday :j:j:j
Then it will be a few weeks then a trip back to Langford for x-rays to see if all this has been worth it. *fingers tightly crossed.
So lil fella is back in his crate sulking because i took his bed and washed it and gave him a slightly smaller one whilst the nice big one is in the wash.
Time to get him out for cuddles eastenders and holbycity0 -
Hope today goes well - what's snip snip day?
Had a brief moment of panic when I looked just now and the webcam wasn't working, but have realised he's away at the hospital again.0
