Not got as far as others. Instructed switch and immediately following end of cooling off period received email with account link. Now waiting again and ddr will go out shortly in advance, but that is fine. Seems to be on track, but next will be the switch so will wait and see. I will supply readings when they request. Interestingly I did a quick quote on their www and see now v4 at increased price compared to my v3 or whatever they call their 1 year fixed tariff.
A week on and had no cause to contact Iresa but the DDR went out on Friday and the online account has been updated today apportioning between Elec and Gas. Logged into E.on account and I see now they have a note on their to say they are aware that I am leaving them. They tell me to make sure I am getting the best deal and to call them....hmmmph. Yes my deal would be the 34% one cheaper than them, so I won't bother to call. Awaiting emails to request meter readings but ( touching wood as I say this) so far so good.0 -
CEC now showing electric only tariff (Flex4) and able to select Flex3 as current tariff.0

Changed to IRESA for electricity only in October 2016 to save money vs EON. I have submitted monthly readings on line and received accurate monthly bills as a result. no issues so far.0

Switch day today but unable to enter meter read on line. Gave them a call, waited around 10 minutes and gave reading, told meter data not yet updated. E-mail received confirming opening meter read.0

Are you supposed to give meter readings when signing up, wait for Iresa to ask for them, or keep checking to see whether the online meter reading system has been set up for entry?
My 14 day cooling off was completed on 25 January. I have had no request for meter readings and no indication from EON that they have received any request for a transfer.
I can access my Iresa online account.
Is this usual?0 -

You'll get emails with switch dates for each fuel between 14 and 30 days, with instructions to submit a reading on the day of the switch.
Assuming my experience is typical. My cooling off period ended at the beginning of last week, and the electric meter appeared on the online account toward the end of the week, the same day they took the first payment (no gas showing yet). Then over the weekend I got an email confirming the electric is due to switch next week (29 days after sign up) which also told me to submit a reading then.3.6 kW PV in the Midlands - 9x Sharp 400W black panels - 6x facing SE and 3x facing SW, Solaredge Optimisers and Inverter. 400W Derril Water (one day). I received an e-mail from Iresa saying Registration Completion and date for meter reading. I am a dual fuel transfer but the e-mail only mentions electricity. Did you get your changeover e-mail in two parts?0

Yes - but check the date. I got one for gas in November 2016 asking for a meter reading on 2015-12-27 (yes, the 27th December 2015)! The actual transfer date was the 5th December. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

My experience too, on the same day. I could only enter my gas reading, as the electricity meter point info was not there yet. I waited about 15 mins to get through and gave a manual electricity reading, then confirmed by email. Received a confirmation email back by return.
They told me that you can submit meter readings by email as follows:
meter.readings@iresa.co.uk
Not as slick as Eon, but it does the job so far.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
