Has anyone had any luck this this? I sent my letter to Vodafone on the 17th June (the day I received the text) and I haven't heard a thing from them.
I have spoken to various people on chat, and I have been told "your letter and email will be sent within 24 hours" that never happened, then I was told it would be 10-13 days after the letter was received that I'd receive a reply, then I was told 15-20 days and now I've been told 30 days. I feel like I'm being fobbed off and I wanted this sorting before the price increase on the 23rd July (obviously!).
I'm kind of at a loss as to whether this is right/normal, or if I should be chasing itDebt free (if you don't count the mortgage!)0 -

As long as you sent by a method that proves they received it you should be able to press your case, it might be worth emailing their CEOs office and complain, include a scanned copy of your proof of postage with the complaint.====0 -
I'm not sure if it's worth pressing yet though, has anyone else seen or been given a timeline for this? Vodafone never seem to have given a specific time scale for this and so I'm unsure whether me pushing is worthless if it's too soon.

Does anyone have the CEO email?
If you google "CEO email" you will find a website that is named pretty much those two words with a .com on the end and has CEO email addresses for many UK companies. (I won't post it here as it usually gets deleted by the overlords).

I had the same text message on the 16th June, sent a recorded letter and heard nothing. Fobbed off by the 191 people and eventually spoke to customer relations. PAC code 5 minutes into call and a £20.00 bill credit.
Goodbye Vodafone after 12 years.0 -
OO how did you get through to customer relations, call 191 then ask for them?Debt free (if you don't count the mortgage!)0

I had a letter back from Vodafone saying the price increase doesn't effect me even though I had a text message from them. Should I just wait until
October when my contract finishes or pursue this further?0 -
I have just spoken to Vodafone via the complaints section on their website. I clicked on chat and it took me through to a customer relations adviser. He agreed to cancel my contract there and then and give me the PAC code. However, he stated because I need my PAC code it would be 30 days before the contract would be terminated. Has anyone else had this? He said he has put notes on the account so that early termination fees are waived when the PAC code is put to use but I'm worried!?Debt free (if you don't count the mortgage!)0

The PAC lasts 30 days, so until you use it, the contract will continue. you are getting a service by them until the number is swapped over, so will continue to pay, they shouldn't charge you 30 days if you swap providers, just up until the day it transfers.0
