    Well well well, just checked my banking and my husband has been charged £401 early termination!!! Beyond a joke this company, raised a complaint on the official MSE Vodafone page and asked the bank to return the d/d.

    It's 8 weeks, not a month.

    Is this official? is it stated somewhere that they have up to 8 weeks to reply? just want to be sure before i go further.

    8 weeks or a deadlock letter from the provider before you can go to the ombudsman.

  • I too received the text message saying that I was eligible to leave, but now Vodafone are trying to say I'm not. I followed their instructions exactly in sending the letter. I've now reached deadlock with them and are having to get the Ombudsman involved. I definitely incurred out of bundle charges during the months leading up the increase in charges as I made calls during a 2 week holiday in America. I can't believe they are now trying to stop me from cancelling without charge even though they've told me in black in white that I can when the text was sent back in June.
