Yes, you can send an email, jeroen.hoencamp@vodafone.com is probably your best bet, but do this secondary to the letter by post(recorded delivery), it just means you are ticking all the boxes and giving them less chance of getting out of letting you leave.
You can call but the chances are the normal customer service teams will work to their script and probably have nothing to do with this particular departure route, don't be surprised if they don't give the right answers when you tell them you have been told you can leave. It will almost certainly be a particular team that is dealing with this and you probably can't call them...0 -
CALL THEM UP!! do it now! i spoke to someone and he was able to help, he understood the situation and went off for 3-4 minutes came back and said i would recieve a text message and email and they will terminate the contract free.
Off to O2 i go in a few days hopefully, unless anyone has any thoughts to someone else?0 -
^youve been lucky than most of us then, I've rang several times and been told I have to wait for the letter0

I'm thinking of going to three when I get my PAC code. It's the all you can eat data that attracts me.0

I've gone back to 3, sim only, half price for 6 months so £9 for 500mins, ultd texts and 8gb data0

Considering the 10gb sim only deal by any chance?0 -
Has anyone who sent their letter via recorded or signed for delivery, checked to to see if Vodafone have received it? Mine does not say it has been delivered for some reason so have sent another letter now0
-
I sent mine on Wednesday. Checked on Thursday and it had been signed for, so they got it.
Surely if you paid for signed for and it hasn't been you can chase the post office for a refund?0 -
@KingS6
I called the complete number - I don't have a Vodafone phone any more to call 191 from, which seems to be at the root of the problem.
Quite frankly if I'm to spend half a day sorting this out I would prefer simply to get on a train to Newbury and offer to hand over the cash. A £10 note would cover it, so long as they don't slap on any late payment charges, and I'd regard the train fare and cost of a pork roll from the nice Vietnamese food stand at Paddington as the price of a quiet life.0 -
