How many Lloyds Club accounts can you open?

Was there not a date she could select for length of time at address?
A 'from' 'to' type field.
Once the 3 yr criteria is filled, it normally allows you to move on.
You will be asked the exact same questions she was asked.
If you are going to do it, persevere with it, or you will end up with loads of sole accounts.
She was asked when she started living at our current address and the answer entered was much longer than three years, but it still highlighted two more addresses needed!
And I agree I could end up with another sole account I don't really want!

I used Firefox, maybe I should have used IE or chrome?

And it wouldn't let her skip past?
Did you try and get thrown back with a 'fill in the mandatory areas' message? And I agree I could end up with another sole account I don't really want!
I just have visions of loads of cards and pins arriving on your doorstep on the same day and causing a tiswas :rotfl:bigfreddiel wrote: »I used Firefox, maybe I should have used IE or chrome?
I'm not a fan of IE anyway, find it rather clunky. Maybe chrome is the way forward
IIRC there used to be an option you could use if joint party wasn't present.......it would then ask for OHs email address and continue the application that way - don't know if this helps or causes more confusion.

I can not open a join account and I still have two classic accounts.
I avois speaking to their CS or visiting their branch for obvious reason.
Is there there any way to upgrade it to Club AC ?0 -
True. Just tried it a few minutes ago to upgrade it to Club Loyds
This is a message I got
"Sorry, but we're unable to add Club Lloyds to your account. Please contact your branch who will be happy to discuss this with you."
I am not going to go to their branch for obvious reason ...I avois speaking to their CS or visiting their branch for obvious reason.
What obvious reason is this?True. Just tried it a few minutes ago to upgrade it to Club Loyds
But they allow to upgrade to their premium account with perks (e.g. Silver £9.95 or Gold £17 month). I do not need that perks as I already get it from my other current A/C.
What I am thinking here is that it might work by doing a trick to the system. (cheating the system if you want to call it) e.g. upgrade it to Silver Account for a month and then after a month elapse, downgrade it to club Lloyds again (or cancel ?) ?? Has someone tried this and what you have got. Would you be able to downgrade it without the need for CS or branch to get involved ??
This won't work. You cannot downgrade from these packaged bank accounts online. You will have to call up or schedule an appointment in branch.0 -

Logon to your online access, if you created one, and you can upgrade there, or at least I think you can, not had a chance to try that tho because I couldn't create a joint account and I already have a sole club account.

I have tried this as per my post #26. Few people have confirmed about this as well.

.
I can not have a join account as I have noone to join with me in the account. So open two lloyds club sole accounts I have actually broken their T&C.
I just do not want someone from LLoyds banks to look closer into the way I operate my account (e.g. mainly for stoozing and saving) and then close all of your accounts. There are already few threads regarding account closure by Lloyds Banking group, mainly from TSB and Halifax.
Also keep in mind you do not even need to break the T&C for them to cancel your account. They reserve the right cancel all of the accounts they do not like anytime without the need to explain it why.0 -

Is it really worth putting £72 a month (£864 a year*) at risk?
* If, like me, you got in early with Halifax Rewards.0 -

I know because I have a sole club account and a classic account. When I chose upgrade it said no, you already have a club account.
I had hoped the upgrade option included an application to add a second person to my classic account so it becomes a joint account. Then to upgrade that to club.
Looks like I need to talk to my bank.
