How many Lloyds Club accounts can you open?

Having trouble with changing your single account to joint and can't see how to do it online?
When you create a Lloyds account online you get a chance at the end to add another person so making it a joint account.
You can do this step at any time later by using the "Our products and services" drop down menu, and select the "Joint accounts" option. Then just follow the instructions.
Simple as that! Really the option to make it a joint account should be at the More actions side menu for that account, but it's not.
Hope that helps fj0 -
Well I should have known better, this is a complete shambles, the joint application page just does not work, it can't even find the account I'm trying to upgrade.
Looks like I have to visit a branch and book an audience

Make sure you make an appointment.
There's a list here http://www.lloydsbank.com/legal/proof-of-identity.asp?srnum=3
The passport will be fine for ID.
One of the below for proof of address
We found that although the list of ID and proof of address is listed it is NOT correct if you are already a Lloyds customer.
You MUST validate using Chip and Pin if they have sent you cards.
Our cards for these types of accounts are NEVER used I don't even activate them. if there is an option not to have them then I try and decline.
These are to be used as savings accounts - not to spend money from

Bad for replying to my own post, but in this case it's necessary.
Well I finally managed to wrestle he web application into submission. The problem was the browser. I switched to Opera and it was fine.
For some reason Firefox and Chrome couldn't render all the elements of Lloyds web pages.
So top tip check your browser supports the Lloyds web pages, how I'm not sure, with me it was trial and error!
So just to recap, this is how to get three Club accounts, create two single Club accounts for yourself and partner.
Create a single Classic account for one of you and make it a joint account. You can always get back to the Joint account application from the top drop down menu Products and services, from your online login to your accounts.
Simple really.
Next step, convert joint classic account to a club account and pay in £5k

I think myself and my partner can each have an individual account, and a joint account.
Is that correct?

I have one already and my wife has one both currently bouncing the £1.5k around between the two of them and 2 DD's on each being fed by standing order from our salary accounts but I want another one if possible. Is this possible?
Currently enjoy the 12 free cinema tickets one gets per year into the bargain!0 -

You can have single accounts each and a joint account, read my earlier post in this thread thst explains how to do this through your online account.

Found out why my sole club account was locked. I changed my phone number. This has to be authorised by yourself within in 48 hours. You do this from the red warning button that will appear on the left hand side of the online banking site. If you don't authorise it your account will be locked.
The lock as nothing to do with setting up a standing order for £10 as a test and then changing it to £1500 as someone suggested. When you do this you will get the red warning button and you need to authorise this as well.
Hope that helps cheers fj0
