How many Lloyds Club accounts can you open?
I think myself and my partner can each have an individual account, and a joint account.
Is that correct?
Cheers fj

Customers may hold a maximum of one account with Club Lloyds benefits (either a Club Lloyds account or an Added Value current account with a Club Lloyds benefits package) in their sole name and one in joint names. No more than two customers may hold any one Club Lloyds account or have a Club Lloyds benefits package added to their account.0

I must be missing something in trying to open a joint account. It says apply in a sole name and then at the end of the application there will be the opportunity to add the joint details. Well I don't see any option at the end of the sole application to do this. What am I missing?0

Everytime I read Club Lloyds I hear it in my head being said the same way as in 'Burke's Law' (at the beginning of said programme in a husky voice). LOL0

It's an option right at the very end. You provide the details and email address of the joint account party.
IIRC it's going to be after they provide you a sort code and account number, just by the part where they offer the OD facility.
This is what it says on their websiteSetting up a new joint account online
New customers
If you don’t have an existing Lloyds Bank current account, you can set up a joint bank account in as little as seven days. Simply:
Open a new current account in one of your names and select the Make it joint option. You may be offered an overdraft in your sole name. Please do not accept this at this stage.
Invite the other person to join the account straight after you or separately by e-mail.
Once the other person has completed their application, we'll send you an activation code in the post.
Once you've entered the activation code we will add the other person to the account and confirm by e-mail. Once confirmed, you can apply for an overdraft in joint names.

My wife and I each had a Club Lloyds account, we tried to open a joint account online, but the computer said no, and we had to visit a branch to get the joint account.0

Glad it's not just me that's confused thanks all.
So my partner and I each have a single club account. We don't use the benefits package.
So can I convert my account into a joint account, and then open myself another single account, thus avoiding a trip to the bank?
Cheers fj0 -
You'll have to go to the bank to open a second account. We'd hoped to avoid a trip too, so opened a joint account first. Had to visit the branch to open the sole account after that. (That's our experience, anyway).
I opened a sole account account & hubby opened an account that he made joint at the end of the process, both on-line. He had to open his sole account in-branch.Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -

Did you create two online logins, one for each account? Cheers fj0 -

You are over complicating that slightly , my wife and I both had club accounts. I then opened a classic account in my name , I added my wife to that to make a joint account ,then a phone call to upgrade it to club ,all done and dusted. Account opened and fully funded within a week.0
