I used to work in Wynyard. Very few facilities, basically an expensive Ingleby Barwick. Depends whether you are happy to have to get in a car to go anywhere or if you'd prefer to be able to walk to a shop, high street etc if you wanted to.
House 2 - built by Shepherds Builders in the late 1980s. Solid house ( I had a house by the same builder in another area), but not well presented, bit dated inside.
Liveable in and you could gradually change it but do you want to spend your weekends doing DIY or spending time with your daughter? Quite a trek to walk to the high street. I'd be surprised if the vendors would drop the price by much - a lot of folk in this area seem to think their houses are worth more than buyers want to pay at the mo. Put in an offer as you won't know if you don't try and the vendor's response might crystallise how much you want it!0 -

That's some solid advice thank you very much. I do think for the supposed prestige of Wynyard there is very little for kids to do there...0 -

Is Nunthorpe still a nice place in Middlesbrough?0 -
Little update, just had a call from the EA and the one under the viaduct has had an offer put on it late today!
Never saw that coming, wonder if its someone on here lol.
House 2 spoke to the EA who passed my feedback onto the vendor and she reckons the women would turn my £220 k down flat although she will look at all offers, the EA says they have tried to get her to reduce price and be realistic but she is holding out for £249,950. Thats way more, i've worked out prices maybe i should try £225-£230K???
Got another viewing tomorrow night at somewhere else so i'll see what happens from now on...0 -

Sounds good, you weren't committed to any of the others really, or at least that was the vibe you were giving off
I think near is good too (very personal and ideal world I know but having the other parent close, although not stalkerish close lol, has helped a couple of difficult situations that I have seen)0
