I received my voucher about 2 weeks after applying + using the card. Lot of conditions on it though, e.g. you can only use it for some items, excluding sale items.

Update - 2 days after contacting M&S via their complaints procedure, I received the voucher by email (hurrah!).
No extension on the time by which it has to be used and not a hint of an apology (I did a stint in customer relations and it's not the sort of email I would have sent out.)
Bit concerned that I read someone has had the code refused in a store so I think I'll try using it online.
Shame really as I was considering using them for banking.

OK,stupid question,if you receive the voucher by e-mail I assume you have a code on it ? Do you then have to input that code on line or tell the code at a checkout till ? ( noting probs people have had ) It's not a case of printing out the voucher ?

I too applied for the card back in May - and I too am still waiting for the £30 voucher!
I rang on the 19th August and was told it would be emailed to me on the 22nd....
On the 23rd, I rang again asking why it hadn't arrived - no apology just a somewhat abrupt response telling me I'd receive it by the 31st! - my pointing out that it had to be spent by that date was brushed aside!! Truly appalling 'service' from M&S - since this was applied for via a MSE link, can't MSE bring any pressure to bear on M&S? - I got the distinct impression from my calls that there were a lot more people like me.

Further grumble - having finally got the voucher! - it can't be used on sale items but it seems the majority of items on the website are in the sale! I had hoped to use it on stuff for the home as moving shortly but I can't find any homeware that isn't discounted Oh, well, it looks like I'll just have to buy some new undies!

This has been an appalling episode for M & S Bank, and although I did get my voucher last week through the post I just bought some wine and beer with it so it didn't get wasted (but maybe I will!). It's so easy to forget to use these things and they expire. I just hope if I move bank to M & S as planned that the vouchers come a bit more smartish or I will complain for sure.

The M&S £30 voucher is a farce!! I've been phoning for weeks to find out where my voucher is and keep getting told different dates. I phoned Saturday and was told they would be emailed on 22nd Aug. This came and went still no vouchers. I rang again today stating should receive in next couple of days. It doesn't give much time to spend them if there's a deadline!!

Still nothing here, I have complained but they knocked it back. Then they said they wouldn't reply to my reply as they dealth with the matter.

I have complained, again, they said they will be in touch. Still waiting...

Oh, and I see MSE have another link today for a £25 voucher - what a farce!
