we have just dropped from 139,950 to 134,950 (did it on sunday) as a last ditch attempt to sell. Taylor Wimpey asked us to do that and said they would pay for flooring and stamp duty, effectively making up the difference. We can't really afford to go much lower than that

    Fair enough.
  • Fourth viewing happening at this moment! I feel sick with nerves and have driven the family mad with all of my 'stupid' instructions!

These viewers have sold and are looking for our type of house, problem is there are several of that type for sell in our town.

Praying that these are our buyers!

Good luck 321! We had about 30 people view our flat since middle of May, that's alot of tidying up :)

2nd and 3rd viewing are good. 4th, 5th and 6th viewing are usually a sign that they're unsure about something. Try to get some feedback, if they're viewing this many times they're thinking about it.

I had a 4th viewing for a house over the weekend. Gave my feedback this morning, they were surprised that I withdrew my offer, but I gave plenty of feedback.

Wishing everyone good fortune. Also wondering if it is pretty much over until September.

Why would it be over until September...? School holidays?

One of the biggest decisions a person can make in their lifetime, perhaps just behind who they marry and whether to have children or not, so no one should feel bad asking for a 6th, 7th, 10th viewing etc. Usually after the 3rd viewing it's a case of trying to get a feel for the house.

Fair enough. But I think you'd struggle to get the lazy agents out for a 10th viewing...

  • Update - So viewing I mentioned last week feedback was that they wanted something more open plan (we're in a Victorian house) and so too much work to get it exactly how they wanted it but loved the space.

This Saturday had another couple view - they really liked it but the price would be a stretch as is at the top of their budget.

Another viewing this afternoon so fingers crossed !!
