This was a nice thread where vendors posted about trying to sell their homes. Shame that since Brexit it now has posts from "crash forecasters" who appear to be relishing the concerns of vendors.
Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

I suppose the answer is for those trying to sell their home to pretend that they can sell it and that they are not concerned? That should shut up the "crash forecasters".0 -
Maybe the "crash forecasters" could leave us in peace?0

Left in peace to do what, pretend it isn`t happening?0

The title of the thread is waiting for a buyer.
It is supposed to be a supportive thread, yet you appear to only come on here to gloat at those who are still waiting for buyers and appear to get some sort of satisfaction in doing so.Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

My partner is an EA and they do give up pushing when they realise you are asking for unrealistic price no one will pay it, as they see buyers and what level people are offering every day.
I would make a cut now, as longer you wait the price will just get lower
Why then did the EA suggest too high a price in the first place? Maybe because like most EAs they inflate the property's worth to gain the business. Perhaps if more people acted like Hammergirl, EAs would be less inclined to suggest such lofty figures (which also skew the market).
Even better, as seems to be the trend, regular EAs are ditched for online and alternative marketing services that don't cost many thousands of pounds.0 -

but then they would not get the business if they offered low valuations, the majority of sellers who really want a seller will after a few weeks/lack of viewings be persuaded to reduce the price. So EA"s will continue doing this, ultimately its up to you what you want to sell for0 -

surely the sellers post for advice, support and wanting to know what is happening in the market, so they can sell their place..
i personally don't agree that there will be a big crash, but prices will definitely fall 10-20%0 -

Some 'advisors' are just rude, but as rudeness never wins anyone over, their desire to support is suspect.0
