Sounds more modern. Lots of grey around still at the mo. Post a pic (if you can) and I'll let you know if I think it's nice or dreary
Saying that, I'd be inclined to leave it.
This is the photo of the living room...let me know what you think. It might just be that its a rubbish photo and needs re-taking (this is the EA's photo).

Clean, well presented and in offensive. I can't see anything wrong with that at all. I am sure people will be able to see their own stamp on the room with ease.0 -
I would definitely leave it. Nothing offensive in my eyes. A mirror might help, but with the black furniture, I'd say it's absolutely fine. Lots of people will think it's quite modern (not keen on the wallpaper, but that's just personal taste - wouldn't put me off. My own house is quite colourful/floral - and my hallway grey, and the one I'm buying is quite floral too, although the paper's hideous and coming straight down lol).

I'm also a sewist/seamstress - I make childrenswear for a living and my home studio ha been condensed into my nans spare bedroom 😩
My dream is to sew for a living, I just don't have the space here, a sewing room or the space to create some kind of workshop in the garden is a priority for me, I hope to set up as a dressmaker/alterations/repairs rather than returning to employment when my youngest goes full-time at school (house move dependent!) We've only had two no shows and a last minute cancellation but its soul destroying after spending hours getting everywhere sorted and getting your hopes up that these might be the ones, sigh.0 -

We are trying to buy a house with an extra reception room so I'm not overtaking the house. I've been running my business for 3 years now and it's just getting harder to do in our average sized 3 bed semi.
Hoping I get an offer soon as I need to reoffer on the house I want asap before I lose itso frustrating.
Doesn't help that my 3 kids are home all summer and making a constant mess so I'm stressed all the timenot heard back from Monday's 2nd viewing yet. Assuming it's not going to materialise an offer.

I feel your pain happy tails! We have just the two kids but we also have a 9 month old springer spaniel and 3 cats. The dog leaves mucky paw prints everywhere every time he goes out and keeps digging holes in the garden, my husband if off work this week but I'm not sure that makes things any easier! Feel like not much is going to happen during the hols, hoping for a big rush in September when the kids go back. Hope you find someone soon0

Still no response from Monday's 2nd viewing - he seemed really keen but get the impression if he wanted it he would have called up to offer by now. EA has rang a few times for feedback but it has gone unanswered.
No other viewers just yet, I've taken to sharing it on Facebook selling pages myself now as I need to feel like I'm being proactive. I hate the sitting & waiting for the phone to ring. Hoping we might get a viewer over the weekend.
