Dropped the price a bit and taken off 'offers over' (hated it anyway, just gave it a try to shut the EA up). Got a viewer on Saturday - fingers crossed.
So disheartening. Never had this prob when selling before. People just don't seem to be looking!
Two houses still up that I think I'd buy.
If it's meant to be, it'll be...

Just had our 6th viewer booked, not even 24 hours on the market. Estate agent won't do a open day but is trying to group viewings together so it's less disruptive. Going to be sat on the park with the dog for ages at this rate.0

8 viewers now and one rubbish offer from last night's viewer.0

Wow Toc, you're going great guns. You'll be sold in no time!
No more interest here yet since that first viewing. Blummin' EA built my hopes up this morning with an email titled 'viewings'. They were just asking what my preferred times to conduct viewings were:mad:0 -
Hi thought I would join you all in the hope of staying sane whilst waiting for a buyer ....
House has been on Rightmove a week now , so far 5 viewings, with one saying once they have sold themselves would
Like to come back for a second viewing but no offers yet. 3 move viewings booked for over the weekend , so all good I guess and at least we are getting people through the door !
However , as I'm such a control freak 😂 - I blame my job , I'm finding It so hard to just go with the flow and accept it will sell at some point . I'm gutted every time the estate agent rings back with such positive feedback but for one reason or another it's not quite right .
I keep telling myself everything happens for a reason , and whilst I really do believe that , when you are in 'the moment' and cant see what the reason is well I find it really tough !lol
There are two properties we really love , both v different propositions and if end up with the choice of either of them I'm not sure what we would chose , although chances are we could lose both , if we don't sell this weekend or very quickly !
So any tips on how to keep relaxed , and how to reassure myself it will happen in time lol ? X0 -
Pumpkim hope that your viewings start picking up. That must have been annoying getting an email like that. I've had the estate agent ring me three times asking for feedback on the house I viewed last week. They must be desperate to sell it. Had a viewing tonight, don't think this one went as well as last night. He said they wanted to move quickly, my husband told him that there is no chance we could move quickly because we haven't even found a house we like yet.0

Lisssa good luck with your Viewings, I can't give you advice as I'm just starting the process my self, this is the first time we have sold a house. Its hard to not stress out if you have found houses you like. I'm kind of glad I haven't found one because I don't feel under pressure. I know i would feel the same as you if i did find one, I'm a control freak too :rotfl:0

Hope the price drop helps. Crossing my fingers for your viewing Saturday!
Feel the same way about the if it's meant to be.... I keep trying to resist looking at rentals for the area we want to move to, but can't help myself, they don't come up often and when the goods one go.....Must stop looking!!

Hazyjo hope that works for you and you get more viewings. Ours is offers over and as much as it doesn't seem to have put people off, both viewers have seemed very unsure about the price and what we mean by o.i.e.o . It was my e.a's idea and I'm still not convinced.0

Well our viewer just left. She was here with her son in law & on behalf of her daughter. She brought a clip board & charts with her & took pictures of every room from every angle & every cupboard 😰The boiler & gas & electric meters, the park our house backs on to, literally everything.
She asked so many questions too but not getting my hopes up as we have had other people gush over it like she did & nothing so we will see.
Hope you are all getting on ok0
